All the "myths" about alchemy working after a fail is based on...plain and simple....stupid ass people who fail to grasp statistics. They figure, that when something fails, the probability the next time must be greater for successes because a failure is already used. However, of course, being completely random, probabilities never change. When you flip a coin do you expect 50% to be heads and 50% to be tails? If your extremely stupid, then yes. In reality, if flipping a coin worked 50/50 then you should be very very very amazed. You can fail 100 items to +, and you will be just as likely to get fail your next item. If the coin hits tails 1000 times in a row, the stupid man says "the next one has to be heads" the smart one knows that it is still 50/50. Amazing how many people fail to grasp simple logic.
Damn that sucks. Makes me feel better after I failed to +8 on my 72 +7 warlock rod. Doesn't matter since that extra damage doesn't really matter, it's all about the coolest looking weapon...and +9 is definantly cool lol.

well what you think luck stones do, and I made a +7 and +9 back to back, 60% balls, 5% lucky stones and 35% dumb luck, I would rather have 5% lucky stone then 40% dumb luck
like a danish wordspeak ( <- dunno if that is a word XD ).. "Tredje gang er lykkens gang".. it means that the 3rd way is the succes way or sumthing o.o
