i was bored and typed "silkroad private server" on google then i press, and press, and press, and then....(OMG!):

And use the same info, or get keylogged.

Whoever believes any private server will get anything close as the official in the next years is a nob, sorry.

wow you are really ignorant

the info about private server has been circulating for about half a year now. Just because you have not heard of it doesn't mean it's a phishing site. There are wow private servers (free btw) as well.

IMO the only prob with private servers is that they will hold so few people. It could get lonely. But then again the official servers don't have too many 'active' players.

the biggest problem is they dont have a proper formula for damage.
and each skill has to be programmed in separately.

the particular server OP brought to attention is fake, i remember seeing it a good number of months ago and it is exactly the same (same people on the left at the same levels, same 2 gms on, same 25 players on, and no forums)

the only legitimate projects out there are united grounds and bosservers using salitry's proposed engine, levelme using .virus's engine, and 3cho is doing something too i think.

actually, the one i posted said that it's not really a server he's using, can't be done without the server database files.

too lazy to search for his work (videos on youtube) but he has a functional private server with mob spawn and other commands, but i think that is still far for a public functional private server where everyone can go play.
