Relapse

Well, I lasted almost 3 months.

I "quit the game" bitching about botters back here:

But... I miss my characters. I miss the sound of little Earth Ghosts running around yipping like possessed dogs. I miss the 'whooshing' sound of alchemy. I miss the satisfaction of finding new skill chains to kill higher level monsters in one embue cycle.

Stuff like that...

I need an SRO fix. The addiction continues. :banghead:

Playing SRO is like going out to a bar with your friends. You meet people you like, you meet people you dont like. You get into alot of fights. You cut peoples faces up a few times. Some chick pulls up her shirt. The barkeeper gets his money, and you are drunk off your ass and happy.

I think I'll try to keep that perspective in this game. Yeah, the bots and gold spammers still annoy the hell out of me, but they pay for further development and it appears that SRO has become dependent on them. If you get hooked on the game, what can you do...?

I'm going to be focusing on my hybrid heuksal, Achika (still holding 2nd in the 2x hybrid damage contest... if that means anything

). Just made lvl 32 with her last night. She's my favorite and I'm determined to see her wearing 8th deg. protector just because I think it's so damn sexy looking.

I've got an s/s nuker, Dakuan, lvl 38, but I'm thinking of retiring him because I've also got a wizard at lvl 19. I'm not too crazy about the Euro characters or armor, but the wizard magic, effects and power is pretty cool. So if I'm going to spend time building a nuker, might as well be him. Just that he's sooo squishy.

at least its player bots and not armys of gold bots like most lvl 30ish mobs are infested with

I think you just really start to notice it around the mid 3x point. At least I did. Whatever... you eventually get to the point where you need to decide how much you're going to let it bother you.... since it isn't going away.

I guess, for now at least, the cool stuff in the game is worth putting up with it.
