you are the scout for a trade run. so its you, L52, trader L54, and 6 L80 hunters, one sun bow, rest +7 one +9. you think yeah! awesome!

the scout (you) sees a sun spear thief. tells the crew. they detour, havig killed you, he finds them, promptly died.
finds them, having brought his friend
they die
they bring friends.

soon its a 6 hunters on 6 thiefs war. its lookin good, you are killing them (well, your team are, you are dead on the floor shouting which thiefs are coming)

you shout that the server's sun+9 blade sun +9 shield (or w/e, its sun, and its fúckin shiny) is coming. your team deal with him.

then all 7 thiefs come, and all 7 spawn mercs.

everyone dies, they take the loot. the end.

to summarise, they all win because they are all GMs of small, but farmed to L4/L5 guilds, probably in one union so one has union mercs.
you and your hunter team are all in one guild, coz thats good, you have daily contact, daily hunting. how it should be. but no. mercs mercs mercs mercs mercs mercs mercs mercs. mercs

mercs.

update: we called every hunter we know, while the thiefs called all the theifs they know, now its like a massive job war in the middle of the ongs. except its not. its a Farking mercs war.

Well, hopefully this new fortress war will be good enough to make all those people with sole guilds to move back into the mainstream guilds/unions...

Let's hope atleast because the mercs really do get annoying.

Reason I got my own guild to go too

Nothing better then showing up alone first then 7 more ppl with mercs running in, and few sec and area clean.

Just 1 8ppl party won't cut it anymore in trading. And who try to solo LOL.

714 on greece has like 10 different unions just so they have 10 sets of union mercs -.-

we called every hunter we could get hold of. got the loot, DCd the trader (like he shoulda done initially but didnt). then pegged it from ongs to hotan. we were ambushed by D8 wizzy with yes, mercs and yes invisi at the gate. but we killed her fast >_>

then got inside.

successful trade. ha.

but still. mercs

haha i saw your trade, wth u talking bout even number of hunter and thief there were only like 3 thief, one was italia and a sun glavies. Merc ? wth u talking about Lotto on your side have a long history of mercing every job war he in.

where were you when you saw it? if you were at ongs you are clearly blind. hampon, italia, lamafia, coco or smth, the sun spear, the sun glaive, the +7 glaive, that male wizard dude.

You could say that about every aspect of this game, but the root cause is that they have the opportunity to abuse them which is why I stated that mercs ruined the game.

was using my friend's L79 account, put on hunter card.
saw a D8 thief, went to 1v1 one him. he spawned mercs.

i mean come on. its not even on a trade run.

i called my friends, they killed him. but hes still a twat.

Me and Clan have a thing for people that spawn mercs for **** all.

I be comming up on 2 5star trades with 5 +7 sword nukers. All in armor. They barely see me come so I am able to take them all out before they even put their snow shields on (10k nukes -.-).

I jack one of the trades, the hunters come and one of them spawns Heuksal mercs, the other pacheon and the other Light.

I snow'd and Fan storm'd and started vigoring around. One of the hunters still chasing me and he zerks, I take him out and I notice there is a thief trying to jack the other Rhino, All the hunters go there and leave a 2H warrior to guard the loot. I take him down and jack 5 star loot. Maybe I got lucky they didnt notice me.

5 hunters and 1 euro vs 1Thief. And 3 of them have to merc?

Or when noob turks zerk and merc you at gate wars in 1 v 1 and call you noob when you run around.
