So Joymax put an IP ban out for people that play in the Philippines?

Or did I read that wrong?

So can happend if JM IP ban . Here is a good post someone made about it.

JM max must be careful if they ban users by IP addresses. As a matter of fact they shouldn't use that tactics. Some Internet service providers (if not all of them) use just a handful of IP addresses to represent thousands of other IP addresses that it offers to its customers. If joymax bans your IP address, chances are they are banning the one that your ISP uses to represent you and many more people within your community and not the one that is actually tied to your PC. That means when they Ban they could be banning thousand of people..botters, non botters, and even people who don't play SRO..

EDIT: even in here is not always good idea to IP ban LOL

why would they block the pinoy? unless they gonna make a pSro, though i don't see that happening, but they must have had their reasons to ban it, if they did

I find it hard to believe pSRO would come before tSRO that is if it's the case of banning pinoy users.

Especially since every pinoy I've met spoke better english then most Americans playing SRO.

no pSRO. im using globe broadband, no problems at all. cept for server traffic. maybe a bug report will be appropriate here. i think it happened to another ISP before, then JM did a fix after like 2 weeks.
i'm a grateful grape

Probably some DNS issues...

Happened a while ago to US ISPs...

Were the actual accounts banned that use that ISP? or can you just not connect?

also, didn't this happen before somewhere? rings a bell for some reason.
