Why are you defending them, there is no reason they can't find player bots and gold bots alike.

Their scanner obviously sux major balls, cus even if they do detect the gold bots with a scanner thats like 1/1,000 the gold bots detected, so what good then?

I never believed the silk buying rumors but its just becoming more evident to that assumption.

You don't understand it's not they don't have time, like i said look, they have ban lists.

Defending? I am stating pure logic. And if I was "defending", who would you rather me defend? A bot? I think not.

You just need to think outside of the box and realize not everything is what it seems. But I guess you are unwilling to attempt to.

And, for your ban list comment. You still don't get the point.

If my boss tells me to do SEVERAL major projects under a scheduled time. You will do what he says first regardless if one of the many problems are the most notable to others.

If you do not understand the simple way of business, then you will never understand. It is apparent that they are back tracked because of deadlines and understaffing. And considering most of this is programming, you can not snap your fingers and expect things to be fixed.

Your defending the banning of bots, it seems so anyway, contradicting the simplicity of it even though are they doing it, just not at all well, even though doing well is no harder or different at all.

You log in, you see bots, some are gold bots, some are player bots, the only difference is some are guildless, and have stupid gibberish names.

Silkroad can be compared to a school. Isro is a Principal and they may have kids doing illegal things . But if their school does not acheive state requirements mandated by the school board, they can not deal with school crime as efficient until the school system is fixed and new teachers are hired.

Which again proves the point, they ban only what they have to, and don't even try to do a good job, and the only reason they banned what they did is to make ppl happy thinking "yay they are banning bots", all the while not really banning anything to effect the game, and I would be my account they did it like this on purpose.

Player bots are a lot easier to deal with actually. If they'd ban just a few high profile botters, the fear would make most player bots quit immediately, just like they did temporarily after the Euro update. The only way to battle gold bots and town spamming is by tracking the gold transaction, and banning gold buyers. The same fear will stop most of the gold purchases, which will make gold botting useless for these companies.

your idea makes sense ...about the gold botting. Yet EVERY MMO has the issue with gold buying... which means there really is no way to effectively get rid of it. :(

eh i'm happy that we are getting some sort of list. As i see it, beggars can't be choosers :banghead:

hi

i notice since the last *small* ban list, i can log in more easier
i see less gold bot grinding
maybe than ban gold bot without displaying the whole list
most important for me is to login and can play, ban list with 1000 or 100 : same thing

most of bot player have item mall stuff : joymax wont ban them or we can all go and play another game, they have staff to pay

hope they continue to ban gold bot

i dont mind player bot cause most of them are high level : if all ban, no more activity and fun *** and thats doesnt mean no more bot coming ***

have fun all

Rofl.... 37 bots on avg per server. They might as well go "/ban <key spam>" a couple of times per day and paste their chat record.

Nevertheless, better than nothing, but still doesn't help anyone 75+ since In Greece i don't think I've even seen a gold bot past the guards/soldiers.
