the first thing i noticed was the blurred out chat box which is a very obvious shade of purple and the colorless part above it. what text in isro is purple? normal chat is white, globals are yellow, whispers are blue, guild chat is orange, union chat is green and gm text is bright pink, not a bit like purple.

so taking a pic from 'another forum' that does show purple text.

it lines up in height and the top half matches the 'welcome to silkroad text', plus when you compare the two colors theyre basically the same.

i dont want to cause any trouble, i just dont understand the purple text, i wouldnt mind seeing the unedited version (text color untouched of course).

not so much an accusation as more of just a curious question

We all know Phil is legit to XX level, why the hell unlike zxaz would he bot at the end? Phil is a smart guy from what I have gathered and would not humiliate himself in anyway.

It's probably a quest piece in the middle of the chat tbh.

That SM thing in purple must appear when u log on sro, well i think so because in ur pic its right after the silkroad message.

Now i think phil didnt log in, found party and grinded to 80 without any party/guild/unionglobal/pm messages showing up

also look at the party names blurred, the also have that purple thing

If you see how the chat and the blurred out names are also purple, then they must be softmod user too. Its just a type of blurr. Nothing else. Go be a hater on your own lvl 80 thread.

hitting lvl 80 LEGIT = hard
and no silk = Almost impossible

There is an option in the SM where you can block specific type of chat All|Guild|Union and so on.
It also saves the settings into a txt file.
Although it doesn't matter if its legit or not ,ITS THE SAME CHAR!

Legits are hard to find these days, but yes, we still do exist. I know a whole union full of them! Guess it wouldn't be an 80 post without a bot accusation. Oh well. As for those troublemakers that just want an explanation to their 'curious question' about text shading, I've no need to waste my breath; however...

Seeing as I'm a pretty nice guy, here's the top secret formula to my editing skills. Photoshop. Gaussian blur, 8.0 pixel radius. You make one selection, blur it, and copy it x times. All you have to do is stretch each box to fit over the text area in question. Hence, they all have the same shading, just different sizes. It's not a text box copy, It may not even be from the same photo...it's just a copy of the last selection box I made.

Copy and paste is a powerful thing.

@DiabolicBow - man, you watch too much MythBusters.

So, I'm normally polite...but seeing as how some people are just out to ruin someone's picnic...the following few tidbits are addressed to any doubting Thomases out there...

1 - It took me a year and a 1/2 to get to 80.

2 - Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house.

Now go in peace...take a walk in a park somewhere...and may a bird fly by and shit on your ice cream cone; mom will hopefully buy you another.

Oh, and the color of that bird shit is a mixture of 6600CC, CC99CC and FFFFFF (white). He must have had berries for lunch.
