problem with cleric and academy chatbox

so im in my party trying to heal them and since they often go under the giants i can't always click the body so i click the face on the party well what do you know the academy chatbox is keeping me from clicking them. Is there anyway to close it?

The academy box i dont think u can exit that but u can make it a bit smaller and less visible

there are some options on the box.
