Hello everyone,

Am new here, and I got a few questions about silk road.

I know Silk road is a free mmorpg, but like some of the free mmorpg's such as (sword of the new world) you are cap at like lvl 20 and the max level is something like 200. (just a example.)

Is there any hidden fees you gotta pay to be able to max your character out on the max level? Or is silk really totally free?

I know about the items you buy with silk money for like 20-30day special items, but the main site also stated it ain’t needed to play.

So from a gamer point of view, I just wanted to make sure I can play and enjoy silk and still be able to reach the max level to play with the higher gamers.

silk is totally free. You can get extra items for real cash.
No money needs to be spent for getting to max lvl.

Silkroad is completely free. There are seeral downsides to the game as well as it's finer points.

First of all, there are thousands of fake players/'bots'. Sometimes the servers are so extremely crowded that you HAVE to have a premium ticket to be able to log in, which is $20 in silk.

While it's not neccicary to use a ticket for extra experience, leveling at higher levels takes a very high amount of experience and it's a good ideas to find a legitimate, non-botting or hacking union to help you out as you learn about the game. Having a guild and union to talk to will make grinding MUCH easier, I think everyone can agree on that.
