you assume too much, I'm well aware that they'll never get rid of the problem. What made me so angry and disgusted with joymax is how they hyped up their "anti bot" measures and the new bot came out less than 24 hours later. I think Joymax is completely inept, they cant even create a code that cant be cracked in less than a day.

All I wanted was just a few days of bot-free grinding in the niya generals without having to run 60 seconds between kills.

Hey give Joymax a break. Like I said before they're trying their best. They are busy as hell dealing with Europe and people like you guys who complain non stop. I know they are not known for their customer service but damn give them a break. At least give them some credit because they actually did something this time. People who bot are always gonna find away to bot in the game so get used to it. Like it or not, they've become part of the game.

Using Europe as a "they are busy" excuse is kinda lame. Bots are not a new problem.

They did something? They did the same thing they did before and it's having the exact same outcome.

SRO is no longer for legits (it hasn't been for a long time). People should be pissed about it.

Yes they did something. At least now people who don't buy premium tickets or spend money on this game can get in. The servers aren't crowded as hell and I'm sure if they had a way to eliminate bots they would have done so by now. Being pissed at Joymax isn't going to make the bots disappear... >__>

Well I don't like it, not one bit. Yes I give them credit, but this credit will last as long as their measures, that is to say a very brief amount of time. Yes, botters have become a part of the game, well many people want them surgically removed from the game.

Can't log in? You'll say get a PT.

Can't beat the bots? You'll say enjoy the game for what it's worth.

Well I am, however it's just fundamentally wrong to allow cheaters to play the game, which is why I like WoW so much. However SRO also captured my attention due to it's unique trading system, and I will not get over the fact that it's infested with cheaters and the host company can not stop them for an entire week.

You say they are busy? I agree, I have been inside game developer buildings and I've seen what's going on, however in retrospect there have been botters for years, instead of pumping out item mail stuff maybe they can just skip one or two items, log in, play their own game, and get rid of those who cheat, make it better on the rest of us, and in turn we'll buy silk, mutually beneficial.

The mentality of: There have always been botters, there always will be botters, we might as well let them bot and ignore them, just isn't gonna work for me.

Of course stupid random curt posts about "OMFG I h8 4ll b0tt3rs" are jsut as stupid.

I do, I kill confirmed bots, I pop bots, I write on the official forums many times to get MD or LA or CH or PZ to log on and ban the bots. Unfortunately my influence is limited, but I'll keep doing what I'm doing because I'm tired of botters ruining this game.

Again with your passive attitude, "blah blah blah, get used to it." I am used to it, and I'm gonna do my part to help stop it when I can. This is a forum. You realize this yes? It's a place to discuss things be that complaining/debating or simply sharing an opinion. If you don't like people expressing a different view then you have why don't you "do something about it".

It wasn't always a bot hell. We don't have to get use to it. I personally can always look back at the days when bots where rare and pretty much the whole server hated the few that did exist.

We don't have to accept it just like you don't have to read this post.

Correction: SRF Hyped the news. Every so often Joymax makes a post like this. Yet either the clueless or the new think it's a revelation.

To the vets .. we all knew nothing would happen lol. Before they had a massive GG update .. stopped bots for what .. maybe a day till Dark released a new cracked bot.

Joymax will NEVER get rid of bots by 'blocking' them. They have to come up with a way that makes it boring to bot. Yeah ... boring to bot ...... They have to come up with a system that requires full attention .. I guess Euro might change it abit but not fully. Maybe if GM's WOULD walk around and publicly humiliate an AFK botter and then ban him .. people might be like .... errr not worth the risk let's hand grind.

But hey, I'm happy with whatever happens. 0 people in my spot or 100 I'll still ks :>
