Glaviers/Bowers able to equip shield in midle of a movement

Post by DEUSAdoBRAZIL »

Hi,

You think is fair a Glavier or Bower be able to equip a shield in midle of a movement/skill? This brings a unbalance relative to sworders and bladers?

You may argument, sworders and bladers can also equipe a spear or glavie in midle of a movement. But remember that sworders and bladers will need like 55-60 levels of heuksal to use any good skill, but to use a shield you need only to have the iten.

I want to know the opinion of other players.

I vote is unfair.

Pure str players like Glaviers and Bowers, have the advantage of hp, most of than use garment and so run faster, using shield they can ease be elements imune, using a shield in midle of a skill they can rise even m ore teh defense and even get a block.
The result is the normal players with no sun weapons or equipements that are sworder and blader cant, most of the time, kill a glavier or a bower. This was making sworders and bladers acts like suport characters for a guild/job/trde war, but prety useless for pvp.

Lets see other players opnions

thanks

i don't personally feel it's unfair as i'm a dual weapon build myself (bow/blade) ,so you could say in a way i'm part of the unfairness..

but this entire game is based upon gaining advantages against other players, be it build, gear or level.... so it's all fair game in my opinion

It's not unfair that they can equip any of the weapons. That's fine.

However, I hear that Joymax may not allow specific weapon/shield related skills to be used unless the particular weapon/shield is equipped the whole time the skill is being used. So if you're just equipping the shield to block a stab from a blade, that's fine. But in the future you may not be able to use the fire shield skill if you're not a blade or sword user.

id want the shield to have like a lvl indicator where you're only allowed to equip the shield if you have bicheon at that certain mastery lvl as indication on the shield itself.

ala euro's equipment equip system.

Its not unfair, they arent dealing any damage either.

I dislike it though, cause when somebody equips shield he is about to run to safe zone or so. Meh, just die fighting.

Its completely fair. If your character is able to wear a shield then so be it. Because any and all Chinese characters can pull out a shield when ever.

If I ever knockdown a glavie/bow/spear user and they don't pull out a shield while I do my stabs then prepare to die.

Its called strategy and requires some skill to pull it of right.

Its like for pure ints who phantom walks after a knockdown. Its not called "running" its strategy and it helps the pure int stay alive.
