Euro s/s Robe?

Post by Rotorboy »

As we all know, full str based builds wear garments in pvp to utilize their all-round defences. In a way it gives them alot of mag. defence and they already have the phys. defence because they are full str.

Now take a look at this chart:

Image

As you see, s/s can wear robes...
Isn't a chinese str char with garms th same as a euro str char with robes? could it own? or are there any downsides to it?

I'd like to brainstorm about this idea and get some opinions from the other SRFers.

They can't wear robes.. And it doesn't say that in the chart either..
They can wear heavy armor (Like chinese armor) and light armor (Like protector)

I'm guessing that is a mistake. If you check the second part, you'll see that with Robe as protector, swords aren't an option as weapon.

=( bad luck cause wizard+warrior sword+shield ( like spear+sword) to knock down would be great, ut changing clothes in a fight would be difficult ^^ wizard is very powerfull but like all int based they have low life :S

There's another error in that chart, unless isro Euro is different from cSRO one... Bards can't wear Light Armor (Protector) Bard mastery is Robe only.

i have no idea where u got that chart from, but it's pretty wrong...

warrior=heavy/light(in chinese terms armor/protector) armor, 1 hand sword can equip shield
rogue=light(in chinese terms protector) armor
wizard=robe(in chinese terms garments)
warlock=robe, but can equip shield
bard=robe
cleric=robe or protector, can equip shield

taken directly form silkroadonline update site...so basically str wears str based gear & int wear int based gear = very weak against their counterpart...so whoever strikes 1st takes the kill most likely

Wearing any protective equipment such as armor, protector or garments is all mastery based, so if you have warrior mastery level 90, and bard mastery level 90 you can wear both armor and garments. This is because european equipment isnt limited by level but by the mastery, so if your level 30 but your highest mastery is only level 21 then you can only wear equipment up to level 21. This excludes weapons and accessories.
