I would say as you are a glavie yeah buy one

for nukers its not that big of a difference as most things will die before your wolf get there.

but for str they are pretty handy really ads more damage and you can use it to lure stuff to you or to tank some mobs if there are to many in your grind spot

pffft, my wolf is a real waste... spend 1m for 300 dmg, occasionally they tank some thing for the first hit but they're not bonus. The only real fun thing about them is that you can send them to chase a lowbie hunter/thief, real humiliation 8)

Wolves at the level cap do like 1.5k per hit or something. My level 27 wlf does 300 per hit.

Since I'm an Archer, I've set my wolf attack command on my mouse button so I can use him to his fullest. He tanks one or two attacks for me, or helps killing mobs I changed targets too quick.

My wolf is the best tanker wolf I know of.

yes buy a wolf only 1 mill thats nothing in the end and its extra dmg so u lvl faster,

glavier/blade - helps kill
spear/sword - takes some hits acts like a shield for u
bow depending on the build - mix between shield/atk

keep in mind that higher mobs hit harder, and blahblah.

b2t: even if you dont wanna use it - if youre grinding on passive mobs, take the chance and lvl a no name wolf. doesnt take that long to get it on 40 if youre highlevel, and you can sell it for a lot more.

Just so you know what you're getting into; if you're poor, a wolf might not be such a good idea; 50K to res wolf if it dies. Also, make sure the lvl gap between you and your wolf is manageable. I have a wolf 15 lvls under me; now is 9 lvl under, and now I have trouble finding a nice friendly non-aggro mob at the same lvl as me to lvl up the wolf. I posted about my issue before; one of the suggestions is to get a hi lvl friend (that you trust) to help you lvl it.

wait for genies :P I don't remember if they're pet pets or attack pets but there's tons of evidence in the SRO Pk2s that they're coming out with some sort of pet with multiple attack abilities and I'd imagine a genie would have multiple magic attacks

Pure strs at 80 have ~29k hp? :? :?

I say wolves are worth it. Keeps me awake while grinding having to care for the little guy. 78, 0 gap, gt, 0.01% per kill......gets a little boring, lol

Well, i was saying that a wolf does not have the same stats as a pure str their level, lol.

Im pretty sure you cannot heal a wolf with that skill either.

no :P but there's items for that. Btw I constantly train at super high lvl monsters so my wolf is kinda useless.

I'm a nuker, and for that, my wolf's a waste when it comes to grinding. It barely even reaches the moves I attack with my nukes. The only time I use my wolf is when trading. It's a pretty effective tanker when some thief comes in and tries to pop you.

a wolf is a must
1-Tanker
2-can make a good profit (if you buy it no name )
3-help in jobs
btw dont buy a stable wolf
try buying a dead one for 800k from DH (some ppl really need to sell it now for there next sos hehehehe  )

archers, yes if you are really aware of your surroundings.

20meters+ cuz of your arrow distance actually puts your wolf at risk of getting ganged by 6 monsters.

But in that same aspect, it gathers those 6 mobs together so you can splash them with devil arrow.
