murder status help plz -.-

ok I got some lag and lion shouted a thief who was removing thief suit... but he was a noob and not faking his lvl and the shout hitted him after he removed it -_- then I'm murder, right now im trying to grind it on white mob but it take way too long... anyone know how many xp/sp I'll loose for 1000 murder status?

200 points a death, pretty sure lol, I use to murder all the time but it was months ago.

And I think 2%.
And 20 sp.

if other people killed you, you lose 2%

if mob kills you you lose 6%

i had a similar situation a couple weeks ago-_-

Sigh it depends on your lvl.

Getting killed by someone wil ltake away 200 points.
Getting killed in town aka go afk or get killed by a monster will take away 600 points

Both ways take away 60sp a death.

IMO dieign in town twice is best way seeing as you don't run the risk of getting killed by someone. And it'll only take 2 minutes.

Say at lvl 80 .. dieing in town twice gets me from 99.99% to 98.43%.

While dieing to people 6 times gets me from 99.99% to 98.00%

I wish i knew about this, i ran out of town, and died from the deadly PvPers.

Back at the 70 cap, I use to just go out the gate to die and mess with ppl, pretty sure I only lost 20sp each time I died.

cant you grind on Chin tomb with a bow...a lot easier hust zerk in and out of town to get pots

Well I know I only lost 20sp per death at the 70 cap, maybe its diff at higher lvl, or they changed it, I cant' find a ss yet lol, but there is also a topic on tavern someone saying dieing off a murderer 1200 points: 6 deaths 2.09% and 120 sp which would be 20 sp per death.

Then another one that says:

I'm totally confused as to how the hell this penalty works, I can't figure out the rhyme or reason.

Okay, so I PK'd a regular player, I get murder level 1200 and "1/15 daily PKs" - ok. He goes hunter, and I let him kill me. My murder level drops to 1000, I lose 2% xp, 20 SP, and my daily PKs changes to 0/15. I kill an Earth Ghost, my murder level drops to 990. I suicide on a Devil Bug, my murder level drops to 790, I lose another 2% xp and only 11 SP this time because I only had 11 left anyways. I suicide on an Earth Ghost, this time my murder level drops all the way down to 190, and I lose 20,000 xp (roughly 6%), and 0 SP because I don't have any. I get PK'd by another player, I lose another 2% xp, 0 SP because I don't have any, and my murder level drops to 0. I still have the murder status icon under my hp/mp bars, but it says murderer level 0, my name is no longer in red, and I do not have the health loss in town or cannot use transport penalties anymore.

I don't get it, I don't get it at all. Could someone explain the formula for murderer status?

And another:

You lose 20 SP and about 5% of your XP and 200 Murder points when you die to humans. You lose 3 times that amount with each monster death. The more murder points the greater the chance to drop your equipment except your weapon. Killing blue monsters is 1 point off, teal monsters are 3 points, white monsters are 5, orange are 7?, and red is 10 points.

Easiest way to get rid of murder status is to have someone kill you.

ok yesterday was the first time i have become a full on murderer, and i had to loost 45% at lvl 21 to get rid of the penalty, yet i kept the lv l 3 murder skull, 2day i hit lvl 4 murder and i have a few more points to pay off, also i lost 20 SPs per tiem i die, is there another way i can get rid of this instead of having people kill me?

1 advice if you are murderer. Use all your exstra sp because when you die you will loose 20 sp if you get killed by player and 60 if you get killed by a mob.

So unless they changed it, duno why you lost 60 since that first guy said he was 80 too.

when you die in town you lose 60 sp
when you die to people you lose 20 sp
dying in town goes 3x faster than dying to people

Was this before or after i was trying to protect your noob ass?

But at lvl 72 i lose 3-ish% and you will lose max of 120sp - 20 each time you die and with 1200 points for one murder you need to die 6 times.

Or, die in town twice. lose 600 murder points and 60 sp each time
