Hacked on Troy!

Getting hacked, from what I've read from HTVHitokiri and Pinokkio (who was in our union, we'll miss you sir) sucks. I have played this game since April, and between my wife and I, have put a lot of money into Silk. Sk4k1d claims he can hack my character, apparently he plans on hacking it this weekend. I wish him the best of luck. And I'm sure the legit people who lost months of work to some retarded 15 year old dipshit wish him the same. So, like I said Sk4k1d, try and hack my account.

Unfortunately, and fortunately at the same time, I learned lessons from these two guys about account security, and before your aggravated ass came and got upset and started spewing the greater internet fuckwad theory (pictured below), I updated my account with security measures that would take dedicated systems a few hundred years to hack.

So whether or not you're behind hacking them, or you're just some dumb kid who proves the greater internet fuckwad theory, consider this the gunshot, the beginning, to a great, and futile, attempt.

In the meantime, to those who have been hacked, this might be a good place to start looking.

Well hope you figured out something, if you did share your knowledge. I still play my account somehow my guild managed to get the info from the hacker once they sold everything. but it sucks not having all the stuff i aquired since i started. I saw the globals about this though and hope it goes ok and nothing happens to you since you have a nice character

. I still have no clue who is behind it, wouldnt be suprised if he was. Either way ill be sure to check this often.

Well a bruteforce attempt on my password would take some serious time and effort, and I change my password and password length on a regular basis as well. As for the other way, using my email address and login, that will take even longer, as my email address is around 24 characters (before the @), letters and numbers, and is not a real email address. On top of that, my character name and my login name are two entirely different things. I reccomend everyone to do the same. You do not need a valid email address. Just something you can write down for when you change your password.

I still have the screenshots of him admitting to botting too, what a noob. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I'm fairly sure the entire guild of WTFHacks is his accounts botting their way up through levels.

Send the screenshots to the bug report, I'm fairly sure stating you're going to hack someone is against the EULA.

Not trying to flame but other then the hack claim i think you acted worse then he did =). And btw 99.95% so called hacks on silkroad are from phishing sites, or people sharing their info.

My username and password are the same, all letters no numbers both only 5 characters long. I have 240m left and several SoS. I play on Athens. If you can hack my account you can have it. I have made the same offer on other so call " i been hacked" threads. And everyday when i log on my character stands there waiting for me.

Well the screenshots just showed a brief amount of some of the delightful conversation we had. I'm a pretty nice guy on the server, and don't talk shit unless shit is talked in the first place. And I'm sorry, but claiming you're going to hack my account is neither funny nor a way to make friends. I'd upload more screenshots but this guy has already taken enough of my time.

Uh.... Silkroad's minimum is 6 characters. So I believe that telephone line over there has some hanging, flaming pants that belong to you.

I kicked sk4k1d from my guild for botting some time ago. I really didn't know for sure that he was till I got about 50 messages in a day about it. So he is long gone now, and still asks me to lend him stuff. Ever since then I haven't given any of my shit to him to use. >.>

Also, his hacking stuff, isn't quite as elaborate as you all think it is. Him and chunky are both so called "hackers". What I mean by this is they get lucky every once in a while and are able to get some piece of info that allows them into someones account. I would honestly say that he knows as much about hacking as I do about football. >.> Absolutely nothing more then that it exists xD

As an update to this thread... I talked to sk4k1d about how he was going to "hack" the accounts. He told me that he wasn't actually going to, that a friend was, though I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I should have taken a screen shot. Anyways, said he was going to hack all lvl 64's with good sos stuff or something like that. I kinda disregaurded it, cause it is deffinately not something I think would happen.

I also talked to chunky. The reason he was banned from WTF a second time is he didn't like not being in control and threatened to hack chunky. Chunky booted him immediately and changed all passwords.

My suggestion is that all high lvls that read this right now, including myself should change their passwords soon as a safety precaution. That way if it does happen, we know they are 1337 haxors, otherwise we can make fun of them and their n00b skillz. xDD

well be careful anyway but you should have to worry since you are 52. the one he mentions is lolsmurf. and yea he says he only finds info to steal peoples accounts but i wouldnt be suprised if this other kid he knows is enough of a lowlife to actually do the hacking. if they pull this off somehow, i see alllot of high levels quitting. when is the special day anyways?

Supposedly this weekend sometime. I doubt it will actually happen though. It seems pretty hard to hack the server and from the info I have gathered about the "hackings" on sro... it seems more like lucky coincidences then actual hacking.

He said something about lolsmurf and hacking SRO's forums. Shortly after, SRO posted that stuff on the main page about forum hacking. As of right now, I believe the SRO forum ID's and Passwords are the same as your ID and pass, and can be obtained via SQL injection or PHP hacking. If that's the case, we're all screwed, because even if we change it, it will updated in the database. I've never posted on that forum, and I changed the forum name to my second char's name under the profile options, but Joymax better hurry up and fix this.

Hey Misaklo! Nice to see you out of the game. Yeah, well I started this character in August, and since my first char was 53 before I started over, I had a lot of money for some good equipment the second time. For a while I was going up 1 or 2 levels a day, now I'm lucky to level in a week. Amazing how much it slowed down after 60. And I just realized I need 20k sp to get my skills to 68, so it looks like I'll be 67 for a while

Well it was to point out a fact. That in all reality he was a noob. He believes everything he hears, like you. For an example his, "uber hacker on troy" he thinks its real. So what did i do to prove this theory?? He saw my "Story" claiming i had 5 character user id and password. Even with bird brains he had sense to assume it would be user id sroge and password sroge.

If you noticed the post and time difference from his post after my reply and from the time he posted its 6 characters its safe to assume he actually tried hacking my account and got the minimum 6 character error =)

I'm sure most will respect the fact that my threads at least tried to help others or started topics that others could learn from. I don't remember making one about "Hackers" and then have the nerve enough to post screen shots of me arguing with some kid, in my honest opinion you tried to keep him going for the purpose of screenprinting and sharing with others.

Anyhow if you want to argue just PM me on these boards. I mean its obvious you want to keep this going for some reason or other. You one of these people that can't keep it in PM because its no fun that you can't show off??

This is not a flameboard, so stop trying. I started this thread to warn other people about sk4k1d, and to share some information on how to prevent hacking. But you can pick out whatever you want to get from it. Two people were hacked from Troy which go to this forum, me being one of them. I dont know about Pinokkio but i have no clue how i was. The heads up is good even if he never achieves this hacking, because everyone will be especially cautious. This sk4k1d is known for scamming and "hacking" or finding out peoples info. But there is no saying this other kid isnt a real one. Compared to many topics this is a pretty useful one so honestly just dont read if it bothers you. Most likely sounds rude but I dont understand why people read and keep posting in a "dumb" topic as they say. Just ignore ones you dont care to reply in or read.

Dont you just love these kids who think they are hackers because they try to bruteforce an account...would love to see some real hackers get to him, he would shit himself but anyway wouldnt sweat it. Plus his mom wont let him stay on the computer for long lol
