Jobs must have a bonus

Post by fehmitn »

hello guys i think that joymax is just missing the point ,
have a triangular conflict is cool
but job classes must have some utility i mean
the mercant must have some kind of passive buff that increase with his merchant skill something like a better heal
the hunter something like more damage
and tiefs of course fast walking speed
coz tief must be spedy
hunter are like the police they must kick hard
and merchant must survive :=)

I don't think it's a good idea.

once the job update that is planned for iSRO comes along, there will be added incentives for the jobs... hunting will be more lucrative, which means that there will be more of them, hence more traders of all star lvls, and the triangular conflict will really errupt into a driving force in the game, even moreso than it is now. now it only really serves as a way to have job wars :P

Sadly .. very sadly I agree with you. Only time ANY HIGH LVL on Olympus puts a job suit on is for a war. Alltho I rarely jobwar now cause of the thief penalty. Really pisses me off that we [ Thieves ] Get the 600k Gold and 800 minute penalty malarky.

The most retarded part of being hunter/thief is that you dont get any money. You lose it. FFS I cant afford to pay 160k for penalty 2 times a day. :cry:

Hi glad a Job update is on the way ^^

odd that lvl1 - 3 is Beginner then Lvl4 jumps straight to Expert !?!

On the Gear Blue Question:

am 53 with Full SOS - SOM+3 Gear -- find having SOS is much more worthwhile adding lots of blues as you keep it for much longer and get a good price back at the end of the day for all your alchemy pain trying to get those good blues ~_^

I am about to work on my Str, but currently:

Int 51

Str 30

sry, just noticed you were asking Chaby - but wrote it now so...

It should be something like;

lvl 1-2: Beginner
lvl 3: Intermediate.
lvl 4: Expert.

Dunno if there's any lvl 5 yet.
Aege (rangahh): Pure int S/S [lvl 4x] Status: RETIRED
Olympus (svante): Pure str Blade [lvl 2x] Guild: SwiftJustice [lvl 2] Status: ACTIVE

and if its about the titles atm it's
1-3 beginner
4-5 expert
6-7 master

I agree, I hate that hunters get no penalty!

Watching jobwars is fun since that is all I can do with my char....Crump pwns btw :P

I laughed everytime Raziel would go up to you and you'd sit down and say "you know you can't kill me"

Hehe, funny stuff.... :D

Sure we do, it's called the "no money" penalty. And let's not forget the "please beg me for help even though you're 3/4ths of the way to DW already" penalty.
