Why cant hunters just play the game?

why do hunters have to bag on thieves so much? just yesterday i found a good 3 star trade with one hunter escort about lvl 32 so i took out the trader easily and he did not say anything but when i killed the hunter he went ballistic and starting cursing like crazy so i just ignore him and go and sell the goods and guess what he puts me on his whisper list just to curse at me. about 10 mins later after i killed him he finds me and starts to follow me to curse me out. so i just log off but why do they hate thieves so much isnt that the point of the game?

Yes, it is the point of the game. There's no real story to the game, it's all about the conflict of the three jobs... these hunters are probably nubs that got owned repeatedly while trying to trade so they became hunters to get revenge on the thieves and get mad when they can't do that either.

Just ignore them and kill. You might even kill them some more than you normally would, maybe they will quit... we don't need people like that.

Well the point of the game is for Traders to trade and earn $$. Theifs to rob Trades more than 1star. And Hunters to Kill theifs. But sometimes you meet up with little kids and that happens. Not all are stupid like that. :wink:

Why do some people think their jobmates don't complain/bitch/moan when EVERY job has people that do it.

Lately jobbing is getting boring, Always go to south gate or east gate
of donwang to watch or be in a job war and people are always standing
around and not warring. Really can't wait for the job update because then
you won't know who your killing and you'll just war.

When I'm a thief I bich all the time

I'm always yelling at hunters and saying "Why can't you stand for someone to make money?"
I hate hunting so much, I can't wait untill the job update though, then it'll be fun.

Don't even worry about it...I used to curse out theives when they killed me even though I wanted to be one myself. (Talk about contradiction.)

I have my own reasons for wanting to be a full time hunter now and taking out as many theives as I possibly can. Just a few scores to settle.
Lost count of how many times I died from a theif folloing me and many other noobs around making us beg to stop. Rarely ever saw a trader do that...but I'm sure every class has there devious members.

anyone can be as noob as the hunter u described. theifs, traders (especially lv20s)and hunters. some ppl just cant stand the fact they got killed in pvp, so they just do the first thing that pops in their heads.

There should be an option to turn off whispers..if someone bothers you too much dont log off, turn the whisper off

there is an option. Go to options and turn it off. =/ got accused of being a botter or "having no life" so much when Venice and Sparta first started and I'd go raping thieves, so I just learned to switch it off whenever I go jobbing.

I usually only swear asa trader when a high lvl thief is popping me (but then usually my guildmaster comes and kills him in a blow ^^)
When i get killed otherwise then by being popped...I just lol and carry on

Well, there are just some people that can't cope with their emotions or have to insult others in order to have fun in SRO and its sad that there are so many of them in these days.
I can hardly have any job war or whatever without either being called a sosun botter when I kill them, or being called a noob when I am killed.... but if those immature ppl think its necessary to do so I don't care about them, for me its either killing or being killed and I don't really care which one happens as long as it was an entertaining fight.

My thoughts exactly.
I think online video games, especially MMOs, tend to draw some people with emotional issues because it's a place they think they can become powerful and rule over other people, and when they find out that it isn't the case, they become angry.

Only 2 times i ever got pissed off was when my lvl 44 mate came to meet me in yeoha forest while i was lvl 13, told me to put my cape on for a few secs to show me how much damage. Me being a noob at the time i did for fun, and the bugger wudnt let me take it off!! i cudnt reconnect either, it was packed out!

Other was a lvl 62 thief popping me :/

This is a game of trading.... but high level thiefs some times pawn high lvl NPC's to kill traders... well this is what happened.. wat culd be done... jus lay dead and watch all my stuffs taken by high level thief's ...

the best i culd do is ... keep PMin the theif... wit all crap words

But then no point .. he is doin his job ^^.....

Atleast i culd make up my mind ... someday even i wuld lvl up .. to take him down as a hunter

Have all servers had a crash in jobbing lately? Greece blows the past month for it. I run by 30-40 traders...and can't find a thief to save my life when I'm out hunting.

I could ask the same question about some thieves. Most get so pissed off when you show up and kill them. I have sat through 30 min of spamming because some noob didn't see me in time to run away.

Not to mention the ones that are always saying "I am gonna bring my lvl 70". To that I always laugh and wander off, never to see a lvl 70 claiming to be the noob. Course I normally run into the noob again. xD

Try playing on troy. Most people jobbing are lvl 70+ now.
