are the gms doing it right?

Post by DeathAngel1986 »

from what i know... when gms ban a bot first they pm that player... but i was thinking about this today... what happens if some1 playes with his chat closed? what if that person gets banned even if he is there? how can you know if he just has his chat closed... or if he has a bot program?

The GM usually makes himself obvious to the player. Any sensible player would then open the chat window.

If you dont read them then thats your problem, not the GMs. Things come up on the screen like that so you notice them.

Yeah when GM PM's you, a great big banner comes accross screen (like when unique spawns or notice of paypal or wateva comes up), if you ignore it saying "you have been reported to be botting" (or wateva it says), thats your problem.

i dont see any reason why ppl close chat windows. They must be a chat hatter :?
Beside, if GM stand next to u, at least show some respect like saying "hi", even if he doesnt pm u :)
Maybe botter shows his excuse: i only see mob, i didnt see GM lol

Gm's ban with Notice only to your char so it penetrates through all chats off or on.

Joymax knows who is botting and who is not they just choose not to ban them or they arn't trying hard enough simple as that. I have had a GM message me before while i was grinding and the GM was on invisible while he messaged me and also i have heard that some players got ban even though the GM never messaged them. It must be some other way of detecting bots besides messaging them to see if they are there or not.

Easy, GMs can disguise them self as a normal person who is pretending to hunt mob. They can create a char as they want, right? :)
