Ive heard alot of different answers for this...?

When killing a unique, is it the person who gets the last hit or the person who does the most damage? Ive heard answers for either side. One time when i was killing tiger girl (i was lvl38) i got to her the same time as a lvl56 nuker with a som spear. We both zerked, but somehow i got the kill. But also, ive heard of people that died while trying to kill uniques and while they are on the ground dead, they got the kill. So, can someone clear this up for me. Is it just the last hit, just for tiger girl? Please everyone tell me what u think.

It depends on the party that does the most damage, and If you do the most damage in the party, then the kill is yours.

It's whoever does the most dmg. Ive seen plenty of incidences where a dead man gets the kill. Also remember that all the damage your party does gets factored into who gets the kill.

If you're in a party it counts the damage it has done...
Ex.

Player A is solo
Players B,C,D = in a party

lets say
Player A has done 40% damage

Player B has done 10% damage
Player C has done 30% damage
Player D has done 20% damage

Player A has done 40% dmg, higher than B,C,D solo, however since they were in a party the game adds their damage up. 10+30+20 = 60% therefore the players in the PT have gotten the kill.
Now who gets the kill within the party? the player with the most damage, there are however some exceptions like when the player with the most damage gets dced than the 2nd person with the most damage gets the kill and so on.

thx alot, i understood the other's concept. but this helped clear it up alot.

I just whack on them till it says my name on the screen, almost always solo it.
