WTF??? my sro went korean

i swear i didnt install the ksro version of silkroad i just tried to login and noticed some letters werent right...

and heres the "cannot connect due to server traffic" message

wtf is going on with sro?
ps. dont try and login to my acc

why does some1 always say "bot" when theres something wrong with sro? i know the bot is a problem for sro but not for mine cuz i dont install anything 3rd party

happened to me a couple of times as well.
and no, a bot couldnt have caused it cus I dont use any.
when I logged in ppl were actually nude when they took of their clothes =O
but yea.. everything is in korean :\
next time I started sro everything went back to normal tho.

Its not korean. If you have Microsoft Windows, then go ahead and reinstall the language pack.

it isnt in korean becasue i have that language pack installed lol

i think u have the wrong client, u dont need to reinstall the whole game, but replace your actual sro_client.exe

To fix it, download a hex editor from Catch22 productions (I think that's it)

Open up Media.pk2 in your silkroad folder.

Search for "Korean"

Now, replace "Korean" with "English", and delete a "." which comes right after English. Hard to explain, but if you do it right, then save it, and when you play the game should be in english.

I purposely changed my files into korean, because with korean on, chars without clothing appear nude.

will people stop trying to blame things for this! ive seen this happen to lots of people and its happened to me. Its just a random bug and it usually fixes it self when you restart silkroad, although soemtimes you may have to restart your computer.
