All these locks...
All these locks...
All Blasphemy's threads r being locked...but..the thread which he is replying to ( http://silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=32066 ) in which Synergy flamed/ personally attacked us...sure he covered it up with a cute guild war story..but its clear what his intention was..no lock ? no edit ? ....or r we allowed to say who we think 'SUCKS' and who is 'gay' ? :S

As once nightbloom said, this forum slowly started becoming same as Silkroad Tavern. After her post the things became clear again, but it's happening again. All these threads are being locked, many people spaming, flaming and so on. Don't make this good forum a place like the tavern. Stop posting stupid things and flaming each other, that doesn't help anyone.
And if you are already locking so many threads, better delete them and everything will be clear and all the evidences deleted. No further spaming would be needed.

it goes in waves. about 2 months ago we started to clean this place up. we hired new mods, cracked down on people's sigs, flame posts, spam, etc. it got better for a while. now people are getting bolder again. we will handle it once more, and it will subside. this is the natural way of things, i guess.

Thx IceCrash for my awesome sig :)

I love SRF... Im proud to be one of it's first members. I hope it never dies. But it's become the biggest independent forum for SRO and with that comes garbage. It's kinda inevitable. The mods do a super job with little or no payback for exhausting work combing through the verbal BS of idiots. LOL If you really wanted to help them AND SRF, dont post on the flame threads. Leave them alone and PM a mod or something.

Yhough the natural way would be everyone sticking to the forum rules

Eh. I beg the differ. I see a crackdown, on absolutely nothing. I could possibly create a thread, with numerous definitions of the term 'flame'. Because I feel its being thrown around far too recklessly.
As for more people becoming bold, Suicide...ehh.
I don't see it. Main reason? Uhh...because you do
What you all did to me...all night long. And for what cause?
None...

you are entitled to your opinion. two staff members, one a mod and one an admin, both saw cause. the same cause, actually. i would also like to point out that i took this discussion off of the forums and into PMs and yet you proceeded to bring it back out here. so be it. if you don't like it here after a few mere hours, maybe it is best you leave? as i said in my last PM to you, you seem to be intelligent and well-spoken, and as such would be an asset here if you could just manage to convince yourself you're not being unduly persecuted. your call.

off topic: It's "beg to differ". The expression means you are apologizing for a difference of opinion.
on topic: Sui is an Admin, he can frankly do what he pleases. LOL Its nice too, cause Sui has good judgement of what is good and what is bad. If he is deleting your posts, then maybe you should take a close look at your content. SRF has historically been an informational forum where ppl impart information towards a better game. We'd like to keep it that way. Complaining about so and so and what they did to aggrieve you doesnt fall into that category and is usually stricken. Maybe peruse the rules a bit and see the guidelines on proper SRF posting?

I feel touched, Suicide. I really do. I respect the fact that you PM'ed me. And I replied. But what can I say? Maybe I feel this is something to be seen by all. And unduly persecuted? You admitted that I was. Or must I quote your PM? But you see. I won't sit here and rant and rave about it. Its a done deal. All I want is equal opportunity to express myself and jot my thoughts down, as everyone else. Or will I incessantly be held to a higher standard than everyone else? That's the question.

Nightbloom. Again. I don't need someone to sit here, and "peruse" my posts and analyze them for attention. As for your opening quote. Don't humor me. "Beg to" "Beg the". In the context in which its typed, or spoken, the meaning is the same. Or do I need to break down the reasoning for this? No. I will. Just to spite you. Your definition would be the equivalent of any context pertaining to a specified 'differ'. If you want to get technical, I'd ask you, what the hell are you differing? Whereas, the technicality in regards to how I stated it, is merely generalized. Comprehend, or no? Cause I can whip out the literary analysis of this entire convo if you want me to...

this is exactly the type of post that will make you very unpopular here. doing something just to spite someone else is a pretty clear violation. nightbloom, there was no need to analyze the delivery of his post. both of you just stop.
i never said anything to you about being unduly persecuted. i admitted to there being inconsistency between how your post was modded and how other posts have been modded, specifically the one which spawned this whole conversation. the SRF has 9 active staff members, each of which has their own unique personality and modding style. it's only natural that the way in which individuals handle things will differ.
if you approach every conversation you have like you're preparing for battle, you will always fear attack.
