Yes, Bladers are good tanks, but unless you got Seal equipment there is no way a same lvl glaiver that means (Your lvl 80, the glaiver is lvl 80) is only going to hit you for 2k! I deal almost 5-6k and 8k on crits to a lvl 64 blader my same lvl! Damn is relative, once both of you are 80 and they both have lvl 72 weapons unless the glaiver is a noob build there is no way in hell that he will deal to you only 2k dmg unless like I stated before you are in seal equipment. So please dont generalize. Bladers are killed by glaivers and int all the time on Xian @ the lvl 80 cap. Do your research fist and then generalize about a build you noob. Also fix your english. GG

Equip a shield when you get KD

use sss.sst and less frequently use gsm, dont use GSP.

Bladers.. i will say, ok YOU can tank and you are good at wars at being a meatshield but thats exactly all you are, even with sosun.

Seriously, im a hybrid spear and i can tank sosun blades in my server you just cant do anything except be a meatshield

lol ok, 2k damage is what i get from SSS well actually 2k each caz SS is 2 hit. SST is about 3.5k and the glavier isn't a noob. Full farm with +5 glavie
but liek i said since we have the new pot and it heals really quick i dont even see my HP go anywhere below........18~17 K I have no Seal items.

The Glaiver isnt being attack smart wise. SST, and SS, and SSP should knock you under the 10k mark. with crits easy.

but in a pot war id give the advantage to the glaiver just because they do more damage

Your right but I get a glavier Hp to 7k once after we finished the pot war.
And i wans't using a +5 weapon too. not only Blader but all build at 80 are worst at pvp.
Spear = biatch =blade = noob=glavier=suck=sword=not good.
my psot is not about how strong bladers are but just an arguement with what Ewwbabel said. blader can't kill him.

When faced to face against a blader, same level as you are, what do u do?

Do you run away? Tank it out? That was the problem I had last night while thieving. I did manage to tank a couple of hits but the most annoying thing is their knockdown/ stab.

What are some tips to fight against bladers? What skills are really helpful against them?

im not telling u! then when i come face to face w/ u you will know all my blader secrets lol jk. i guess the trick is to be fast and start dmging them (since ur advantage is higher dmg) bfore they can start bouncing u like a rubber ball. thats what someone said, im not sure cus ive never had a real glaiver bfore, so corect me if im wrong.

Take both bicheon and heuksal and use both skills by switching weapons in
battle, and don't take cold. that way you'll pawn anybuild anytime(except when its laggy).

dont know why but nuker running around a one hitting people aorund his lvl for 12k.... is kinda good at pvp...

Well yeah it's awsome being able to 1 hit others with 12k on a nuke, but nukes power up a bit slow. All it takes is a blader to KD that nuker, or block with shield, and the nuke stops. I would guess freezing would stop the nuke too.

Okay, I went through all your post and I guess it all comes down to as a pot war..or whoever crits. I am level 65, hueksal mastery at 60 (i am sp farming) and as for a weapon, i have a 64+7 sos glaive crit 11 full blue. My cousin just bought his 64+7 sos blade as well, hes full strength(pys 119%) vs me (91%)

I have to say we do about the same amount of damage to each other but what matters is that he has a full set of garments w/str 5 which adds about an extra 1.5k hp. So we duked it out in a little pvp action last night and in some cases if i crit= i win. If he knock down and crit, he wins..................so we both came to a conclusion that neither won and its all random..............so we went hunting for thiefs instead and owned some level 70s. What was funny though was he was a nuker and would nuke me for 9k damage then my cousin would run up and knockdown, then he does his combo while i apply my head crusher moves.....= dead level 72 nuker. It was a fun night!!!

you are generalizing far, FAR too much.

ya i know... but all same lvl, with same skills levels, same amount of skills, same wep lvl, bladers wins archers and glavies, archers will loose, and glaviers will win archers but loose vs bladers

Ah, a story you might be interested in.. a while back one of my "former" buddies saw me pvping outside town, decided to not allow me to buff ( i was on an archer) so i ran around casting 1 buff at a time, turned around zerked, and ONE shotted him with an ANTIDEVIL crit (antidevil is not even the strongest bow move), he got back up and i did it AGAIN, i realize i was zerked, but thats a 2 shot on a pure str glaiver my lvl... non zerk so... please stop these useless posts about bow being on the bottom

Okay, First of all 3 out of 4 times that I fight a blader I always get the same results. Glaives have emense power and have the ability to stun 35% of the time and KB another 35% of the time but, With a blader you have a 50% chance to KD and with the added block most battles between a Glaive and Blade with result in a total pot war. Up to date there has only been 1 blader who has actually "pwned" me mainly cause his SoSun +5 crit 14 blade, That thing is a beast. Anyways, When confronting a blader I first like to get a Dragon Fly off before he gets to me, Then I'll usually go into a SSS then Mars then SSS again and usually follow up with a Pluto or Dragon chain, Yeah some people say chains suck for PvP but I like them and they ARE effective if your glaive has a fair crit, They've saved me a few times before but I mainly use them against Int Spears. Now, If you are going to fight a Int Sword with KD's then its a totaly different story. Int Swords I belive are the WORST to confront in PvP. Not only do you have to deal with the KD's and Blocks you also have to watch your HP. Most of them time I find myself using Vigors and a Shield when fighting Int Swords just because their damage is so~ much more than Str Bladers. When fighting Ints you want to Stun and KB as much as possible so skip using chains and substitute it with SST.
