Some Good News For Vista Users: Inspection 2/5/07

[Weekly Inspection] Weekly Server Inspection Notice

Date : 2/5/2007
inquiry : 4460

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Inspection Period : 2007/2/6 15:00~20:00 Silkroad Standard Time

[Patch]
- Compatible with Window Vista
- Runtime error bug to be fixed
- Disconnecting problem when it is restarted to be fixed

lol as of now not much of a reason to get Vista still since they are releasing the XP version of "DX10" and with the compatibility issues

Nothing to be excited about.... no end users should be using Windows Vista now until Service Pack 1 is released. Too buggy and lots of security vulnerabilities.

Any ideas whether the comment about the runtime error is a general one or is just Vista-specific?

Would be nice to run SRO on my crappy laptop with its lame, unsupported graphics card, lol.

I ran SRO on Vista yesterday and it worked great... until I ran over to the tarim ferry and clicked the entry to teleport to the other side. Then SRO completely froze. The ferry window didn't even go away. I looked over at my wife's computer (we were in the same party) and saw I was dead :( Vista almost locked up too, but I was able to get out and reboot into XP. Logged back in to see I was back in Hotan with a dead wolf.

I think I'll stick to XP
