when you log in you will have a verify an image
gold bots arent montired by epople so they have to log into loads of bots them selfs
this will slow the gold sellin industry down ALOT

O wait i mean get DC from server
if they were samrt they woulda put it AFTER the actully log in screen

i disagree on the last part because if you are already logged in that means people (real players) still will get the disadvantage ..auto log in and the only thing those bot owners need to do is check the image while already using server space, so no thanks.
I really hope they will use this ingame but seems like the log in screen still have not changed after the check we will know what they actually changed but i think they will use this whole system when all updates are done.
this seems to be 1 of the many coming updates.

They should add something like. You have 1 minut to verify the image. If you dont you get dc. That would be nice because then the bots would get dc and people could login

i hope along with the image verify at the log in scree, every two hours of gameplay you have to verify again as a pop up from the server.
though that would take an insane amount of thinking to even develop that into the game, the bots in game would be stopped after just 2 hrs of botting
of course the hours could be changed to 3,4,5 or whatever.
this would also disconnect the user if they dont verify in the alotted time ( could be like 5 min or something) and would make more server space so people dont leave stalls open for days on end which is bitter annoying for new server people getting in their days worth of sro.
i feel like ill get bashed, but i just thought of this up and i dont care what you guys think if its bashing it

That would be annoying at peak hours though, trying to login and doing all that image stuff everytime lol
I think you only have to put it in after you successfully log in, I could be wrong though :-/

for some reason i don't think this would be as effective as you may think, someones going to come out with a way to get around it - just sit back and watch :p
they can add all the "security" they want, in the end all it takes is some time and its bypassed, the only way to stop botting 100% is to have a detection method, anyone who has botted in Diablo 2 in the past would understand exactly where I'm coming from
by no means am i bashing anyone, I'm just saying it will only do so much

no more auto login
Bots will still log in...
I wonder how people will react to a simple image code every 3 hours (not counting stallers)?
That will just prevent ppl from afk botting.
just by doing that - (making stallers exempt from this verification) gives the people who develop the bot a starting point. =P

I only started playing recently, so here is my opinion of what's what.
When I first started playing, I noticed lots of DC. And lots of Bots running around the place.
After this little update, it has decreased. And playing is great. less lag, less DC everything, the whole bundle.
Yes, it will be bypassed over time, as all things are. But, I think the verifaction in game wouldn't bother all that many people. If it happenes every hour even, it takes 5 seconds of you life to type in a code.
Im my opinion, people who have many failed attempts at typing in the verifacation code, like 10 in a row (People will sometimes have problems somehow, that ARE legit players) should have a temporary ban or something similar. Because again, over time this will be bypassed.
This in-game verifaction to me sounds like a top notch idea for the moment atleast, although Joymax would have to invent something different every 3 months or so in order to keep botters one step behind.
Just my 2 cents as a n00b
***Edit: Just noticed. When I say botters, I mean botters, and 24/7 stallers.***
