elixir prices going down?

Is it just me or have elixir prices started to go down? The top was almost 400k for weapon elixir. now you can buy them for less than 300k.

lol on athens the top was maybe 320k and now its for 250k

it was bound to happen, and to be honest i'm glad for it. not that i'll personally need any weapon elixirs for a long time (unless NanDesKa succeeds in convincing me to go for +9 lol), but for protector elixirs, etc., it'll be nice not to have to spend 150k (which used to the price for weapon elixirs pre-cap on xian, if you'll remember :P)

Prices are going up, and have been. I quit about 5 months ago, just started playing again, and elixer prices have doubled. 100k more for a weapon elixer than previously. Ridiculous. I guess it's because of the influx of noobs who don't know how to price and are ignorant of the game's market economy.

lol if the price go up it's not beacause noob over preice them.... they follow the price, if there is high demande and low offer price go up, if there is more money in game price go up...

Ugh, when demand rises, prices fall. Law of demand. Only reasonable explanation, other than the one I gave, is that there is more money in the economy because of gold bots.

When the new tier of 8th degree came out they sky rocketted because of the demand. I had hoped that 8th degree would fall more. 64sos+5 spear is selling for like 180mil..they dropped alot, but not enough :banghead:

You have that backwards. If there is more demand for something, prices will go up since more people want the item and are willing to pay more to get it.

If you were correct, then I could sell lvl 1 armor for millions.

This how it works:

Demand Rises = Price Rise
Demand Lowers = Price Lowers
Supply Rises = Price Lowers
Supply Lowers = Price Rises

It is a combination of those things that makes price in real life economy and some what in-game economy.

i hate alchemy. 8 elixir to +3 a weapon. now i lost 3mill and sell the weapon for 1.5. that is just sick..

A lesson learn, never do alchemy.(weapon)
i rather sell em and gain money and buy a weapon that is alchemized.

.. alot of weapons are just garbage and will probably never go to +5 without breaking your bank, morale , ect. .. then there are a few that will easily go +5 , +7 or even +9 in very few tries. thats the fun part of alchemy for me is trying to find those lucky weapons. Most of the 72 weapons are easy to resell still, so you can at least either resell the ones that are dogs at a low ++ or break them for elements/stones to recover some of your losses, than continue the search.

. Being able to buy prot elixirs for 90k acc 40k weapon 300k.
Olympus economy have always been kind of strange. Good its for the better right now.

Agreed with MastaChiefX. People selling NPC job suits for 400k each is what screwed everyone over. With gold bots, the people that have money just get more. The average SRO player won't be buying gold. With the job suits, everyone got richer.
