no idea what he does to be honest.. lol
he hasn't talked to me yet.. I will ask girlfriend later what he is saying.
I think you need to zip up your current installation isro, before installing jsro.. not sure why, maybe it checks for other files with same names?
I searched and read someone installed on a seperate hard drive w/o any problems.
lvl 16 now... but my char is so week lol.. I just switched from armor/protector to garment, so I have nothing with +'s

I think what happened was the jsro installer asked if I wanted to uninstall the existing Silkroad install first, but I didn't know because I can't read Japanese. I assume I clicked Yes, then installed it to JSRO\Silkroad.

I reinstalled iSRO and now both versions seem to work fine

I'm on Oasis on jSRO, not sure which server is better.

I currently have four different versions of SRO installed on my hd. When I am installing a new version, I just make sure I rename the last one. The folders are called International SRO, Korean SRO, etc... Then, when you install, they dont overwrite. Pretty simple.

I am not sure what server either, I started on Oasis, and staying there for now..
I will probably be on some tomorrow.. it's 1am here and have to work in the morning. :-)

The NPC on the south side is a "ball trader". I don't know what that is to be honest..

yeah i play japan silk road.Freakin funny everything cheaper and less laggy.and if u a thief OMG u can have a filled day with newb traders.So i play both now ISro and JSRO fun fun.LOL.Yeah install japanese language pack.LOL.

I loved jSRO. But then some guy murdered me 4 times and because I was a "外人 - Gaijin/Foreigner" His guild was called "外人への死 - Gaijin He Noh Shi/ Death to Foreigners" >.> Thats what caused me to come back to iSRO.

everytime you install new sro with an existing old one you get a msg to uninstall the old copy. Since most people are installing a new foreign language version they dont understand and click yes anyway..... so your old sro gets deleted.
One way to prevent this is to just rename your old silkroad folder before installing. Or you could edit the registry entry for sro to point to a non-exiting folder.
