Pure Int Spear in Boss Fights

Ive been looking at the names and builds of chars who have killed yarkan and I don't see a lot of pure int heuksal nukers. This got me thinking about how good this build is in a boss fight. I would think that since they have the highest dmg possible because of the high spear magical dmg and pure int nuking, they would just stand back and unload while some glaiver or blader took the brunt of the dmg. So if anyone out there uses this build and kills bosses i would like to know how well it does.

O yeah while I'm posting i have another question. alot of guides on building this type of nuker say to only the the first book of the heuksal series and only at lvl one. Yet i see a lot of high lvl people using heuksal skills much further down the tree. Is this advisable or do they just have it because theres nothing else for them to invest their sp in ? I would think not since between my nukes and shock lion shout I can pretty much kill whatever i need.

Bosses are supposed to be killed by party's. If you get in good balanced party int spear has a high chance of getting the kill. High and ranged damage...

Well im a spear hybrid. Killed yarkan 14 times. But yes you need at least 2 people in your party.

people advice not to lvl ur heuskal skills past lvl 1 other than the passive because nukers use lots of sp. But if u have time to sp farm, then u can get it as high as u want.

wouldn't the boss attack whoever dealing hte highest dmg to him (thus attacking the nuker) instead of the tanker?

bows have the highest chance, i think, the AOE that spears nuke for, agros all the mobs = int dies fast

but next up i think would be int spear

they dont get the kill because they do so much damage yarkan only focuses on them

In theory yes, in practice no.

Yarkan is a pussy, he isn't the problem, it's his Giants that are what flarks us up.

And the coding is such that as soon as a high level hit registers on Yarkan ll the freaking mobs rush you so it's nuke>>>>run !!!! >>>nuke>>> run !!!
