Now that they have had their identity revealed, it is a wake up call to all botters to stop botting, at least for the time being. GMs should be creating a different ID at least. They should lie low and wait for botters to kick back into gear then ban.
Ban 5 bots, presence known, ID known, 1000 bots escape.
Just another GM blunder. GM 5 < BOT 1000
My God Your An Idoit
ITS Gm 1000 >bot 5
they doing this undercover gm so bots Dont DC when gms enter caves
since theres no GM Properties on the account the bots dont think its a GM and carry on bottin then she spots them then bans em
the only way she has a modified account is shes able to make her self a god and have that noob sign
she pms a name to JM banning guy
he bans em No need for actul GMS
<<banned from SRF for bot admission. -SG>>

EDIT: EEK! 1000th post!*maniac laughter*
welcome to the elite club
Thank you!!!

You need to reread.

Your argument makes no sense. ladyasiana had to reveal herself to catch bots in the act and ban them
She has only appeared in the past week or so and you're talking like she's been running around caves for months. Obviously after a while, the botters will catch on and stop botting and wait for things to cool down. WHEN that happens, a name change will be needed.
But not yet.
PS Screenshots have pros and cons. Pro: the public are satisfied that JM is starting to take interest in banning bots. Con: makes their presence aware to botters as well.

Seriously no other subtle way? Equip approriately? A few PMs? A few public chats? A few attacks? Leave then ban?

That's 6 days too late. The best time to strike is when they least expect it but now...........

Rare occurances are captured that's why.
I see. So you're one of those "ban first ask questions later kind of people."
As other people have stated, ladyasiana works for Joymax, but isn't an actual GM and might not have banning powers. She is probably running around and creating a list of botters to submit to the people who DO have the power to block accounts.
Look at the screenshots. She is shown using public chat and ksing. It would be hypocritical for her to turn purple attacking a bot. As a person of higher authority, she's supposed to set an example. And obviously you can't see if she pms the botter.
As for the pvping, I have no clue on what the reasoning there is. My best guess is they're testing a few new updates and checking for bugs.
In my eyes, I think it is better to be safe than careless. You may think differently, but I personally prefer accidentally not banning a bot over accidentally banning someone's who's legit. But either way, both situations can be corrected.
