Malaysia SRO Playable already?

Post by Cerus »

I am from Malaysia, just the other threads said, eversince the Taiwan earthquake connecting to iSRO is almost unachievable, even if we manage to log on, its unplayable.

Its been awhile, is it still unplayable? My GT is running..... :banghead:

Please give feedback M'sian players and let us know if its good to play already.

the situation got worse today.
streamyx rerouted all traffic thru USA =.=;
everything was still ok(meaning I could login, chat or stall) when they rerouted thru europe.

TM announced on Friday (5th Jan 2007) that the connection has been restored to 50% but the connection speed to iSRO seems worsen. I guess they did re-route it.

Access to certain webs seems ok... I guess it will take them the full 3 weeks to restore it. Hopefully when it is fully restored, the speed will be as good as b4 the quake.

Y would it be slower if its restored? M'sians would know y...
You would be surprised how things r done here... M'sian government personnels have no brains (except a few of course).

For eg. Not long ago, one of our minister were giving a speech, after the speech she was asked abt the problems that foreign companies faced while trying to enter the market (red tapes) by one foreign representatives. She replied that if they can't cope with our legislations, they can go invest elsewhere. This is how u reply? Stupidity....

Another eg. An Indian Software giant attempt to set up a HQ in M'sia not long ago, but all applications sent in and queries were not replied, y wasn't it replied? Apparantly it was not being taken seriously... This issue was highlighted by the Chairman of the Indian Company in a convention directly to M'sia's Foreign Investment Minister and all he can do is apologise and reinvite them but too bad, they already set up another HQ elsewhere since the attempt to get in M'sia was unable to progress.

When you apply for a permit for AP/Steel Importation in Malaysia, the permit allow you to use it for 6 months and 1 year, but it takes the M'sia Govt Dept to actually get it done is 3 months, and when its out, it will take another 3 months b4 it reach your door, WTF? by the time we got it, we got 3 months left. As it expires too fast, when we ask for a new one when the old one expires, they ask "y would u want more? you didnt even used the previous one!" in a rude manner. The previous one has expired you idiot! and we got more steel coming in!!!! F***ING IDIOT!! but u can't say that, y? because if you pisses the officer off chances r, u will not get your permit 100% guarantee... So you have to actually say "sorry boss" due to this this and that that... Please help us... and every new year... you have to send them gifts to make them happy, you can skip it, but they will ask from u anywhere (This is not made up, its a fact)... don't give it? there goes your permits.... bye bye

Off topic? yes i know... i just can't help it when i talk abt them...

well, nothing's worse than the Malaysian Space program, where they are going to use the taxpayer's money to send a guy just to proof that we can make teh tarik and Roti Canai........

SO much for Malaysia Boleh!
