farming at nachals
Since NO-ONE seems to give a normal answer to questions in the other subforums these days im asking it in general.

Im gonna hit 69 most likely 2night, and at lvl 69 I start the farming. I will go 9-gapping from 69 to 70, thats gives me enough SP to get full farmed.
But i need some information, could anyone answer one or some of these questions please?!:
With a lvl 68 +3 spear with +44% mag dmg, can I 1shot them???
How much DMG do they do to a pure int?
How much % zombie reduce should I have (Idont use fire shield king or something)?
Is 6000hp enough to get 5 of them attacking you without dieing, im using garment

Yeah he will be, if not his build sux balls. I'm PURE int 116% mag balance lvl 68 and they hit me for 1 ~ 100 damage. I can tank every nachal in the room without dieing. Oh ... IMO Fire shield is a must tho >.> I'm immune to everything except burn so I never need to buy a pill. You may have problems if you get ganged and your pills fail to work. Zombie + gang bang = dead.
Alltho.. if you 1 shot them no need to worry
I'm 68 and have 6572 hp PURE INT. Never once died here.. as I said .. whole room easy. Btw Masteries are EVERYTHING maxed to 60.
Oh my current weapon is a sos+5 blade 22% mag .. I do 7.5k dmg.
Just about to pimp my 68 sword out and then easy 1 shot. 8k +

he is pure int spear. He should do more dmg than a pure int sword. Is nachals attacks magic? Or why garment on a pure int spear?

I was already farming there at 65, full INT, garment, lvl 3 fire shield-king and atleast 7-10 % zombie reduce on your accessories. Its always good to farm there from 66-72 for a full INT. Two shotting nachals is already good enough, I even kill them before they even get to hit me unless I have about 20 of the things surrounding me

Can you say Perfect Alchemy, I knew a spear nuker could get 114% mag balance(kuz i knew one
With Shield you can get 115.. and the Gold Dragon Flag adds 2 Int, Now 116% is max eh

Well GL with Farming, and I suggest hitting 72 and Farming, 72 Weapon acts as a 76 weapon Stats wise, much much higher, =), your choice though

Nachals are a gift for pure int or other int based builds.
I'm not even pure int and I've stood up to like 3 giants and a bunch of regulars the other day but ended up having to run because I really couldn't see shit from all their attacks.
100% zombie reduction is a must if you plan to fight in the "scary room", which must have 500 nachals if you are alone. If you plan on fighting in the first room, zombie reduce will of course help but isn't necessary since you shouldn't have 500 on you at once and thus are less likely to get farked over by pots acting before pills or pills not acting because of delay or whatever.

At L68, pure int has 87 str, 288 int - thats 96.0% balance naked. If a person has 5 int on each of the 12 items, thats 348 int - thats 116.0% balance naked. But then once you add on the gold flag you have 350 int - thats 116.7% balance. Thus, the maximum mag. balance at L68 is 117% (rounded up).
To the poster, I don't understand why you don't just go into the room and find out the answer to your questions - it would take less than 5 minutes.
I would guess that a L68+3 spear with L60 masteries would be right on the edge of one hitting, hard to say (if you had masteries at L68 I would think you would one hit). Getting a 40% increase in attack rating might really help you get over the hump and one hit with more consistency (IMO perfect atk. rating increase is almost a requirement for a spear anyway). It also might be worth your time going for +5 as it might be the difference maker, and if you grind the entire level at 9 level gap, that will be a looooong time.
As everyone said, don't worry about death, you should be able to tank LOTS with ease. Only thing is you don't have fire shield . . . I wouldn't worry too much about getting killed via zombie (I never even got close when testing with pills), but you will go thru lots of pills. Make sure you always have enough and you should be fine - and don't bother upgrading jewels, its a waste unless you have fire shield to get you over the 100% hump.
FYI - I was still grinding there at L73 (and may still go back even yet until they are blue) with a L68+5 spear, L73 masteries and could rage the entire room solo with ease. In fact, when I had the entire room to myself I think its the best spot in the game for a pure int, even better than the bandits den . . . and people wonder how a legit player could already be L75. ROFL.

im the best person to answer this question for u..im level 69 farming at nachals i have two spears a sos 64+9 and i way over hit them with 11k nukes..i have been trying out my 68+4 fully imped (very good blues) spear and 70% of the time i 1 shot them...but of course my magic balance is between 113-114% i have ALLOT of int 5 stuff im using sos armor and getting hit between 300-700 and ican have 10+on me without dieing (i do use xlarge pots however, they last a LONG time at 45% pots)

Get to 72 and use sword. You'll be able to stay there forever without dying.
My 72 sword is ridiculously better than the SOS i've seen and the people that one shot nachals at 70 cap were ones with SOS swords. My 72 sword has 250ish% reinforce while the SoS ones have around 230ish%
Also, invest in fire shield, you'll need it for ice immune in PVP anyway.

Thanks all for your help! Im 69 now, maxxed fire shield king to 60, bought 300special pills, 200 x-large, 1000large MP, and +30% zombie reduce, in 1 hour no zombie at all, and they hit no more that 500
(except that special attack they use 1/5th the times.

Eum how do you calculate the relation between points of int/str and the balance %?

Ahh fire sheild king is a must, universal pills simply won't cut it.
Oh to answer that dudes 1615 mag defence ( Would be 50 points higher with lvl 3 hard fire BUT thats a 61 skill and my masterys are 60 MAXED )
Lost 9 int by switching to new set of 8th. BADDDD luck with alchemy now.
