What's the point of thieving?

It's always 1*. I even saw a Level 70 doing a solo 1*. 1* should be for the first few levels, then you should always have to do 2*. But instead of Level 60 thieves gangbanging you when your doing one, it should be a thief that is close to your level. Like, for example your doing a 2* at Level 22, so only a Level 20-28 thief can attack you. What do you people think?

The job update won't do anything good for thieves. It's mainly for traders.
