Sometimes I really like alchemy (bow enhancement)

I have been gathering a LOT of elements, mainly to sell, but yesterday I got myself a pretty standard lvl 21 bow, and since I can't afford to buy a really good one (saving for a good lvl 24 bow) I decided to try and enhance the one I bought.

That made me happy.

Now I just need to get a few more weapon elixirs for my crit 10 lvl 24 bow - it's SP farming time at lvl 24, and I can't afford SoS. >_>

I have ~2M to buy a lv24 SOS bow, and I'm at a lv4 gap atm (lv21) so hopefully I'll find something good.

Here's a tip,

don't use 200K weapon elixirs on your ~35k bow to make it worth maybe 40k.

Also, don't use 300k STR Stones on your ~35k bow to make it worth maybe 80-90k.

Simply resisting alchemizing and selling those things will lead you to the SOS road very quickly. :wink:

Thank you! I only have ~200k, but I'm making 200-300k a day just from selling elements, so I should have at least 600k more when I get to lvl 24. I will use that to buy weapon elixirs (they are cheap on Eldorado; I have bought several for 100-120k and sold them for 150k) and try to get my lvl 24 crit 10 bow to +2, maybe +3 if I feel like gambling.

I'm lvl 21 right now, with a 6 lvl gap, so I'll have a 9 lvl gap when I get to lvl 24, if I keep it up, and I think I will. I have about 1800 SP right now (can't remember exactly how many) and I'm looking to get 8 - 10k SP at lvl 24, so I can play with a very small gap until lvl 42 or so.

I'm not doing it to make money, I'm doing to be able to kill faster = level faster. Besides, you go ahead and try to sell a STR stone for 300k on Eldorado...I'm sure it's worth it, but you'll have to spend hours and hours stalling it until the right person comes along - and with 10 server shutdowns a day, that's not really an option, since you can't go AFK anymore. >_>

He's right though, if you think about it, you're able to get a +3 high-crit bow for under 600k, eventhough it's nice to make one yourself

It's simply just not worth it.

Lol, congratulations on Str 3 increase. IMO sell your stones instead of using them. I have made maybe 10 mil this last month from selling stones.

Yesterday the temptation became too much and I trying adding a Deg. 6 Str stone to my Lv 42 +2 sos protector hands. FAIL. Tryed again to add Deg. 6 Str stone to my Lv 46 +2 sos necklace. FAIL.

A good lesson learnt. Sell your stones, do not use them >.>

People don't buy 3rd degree stones...at least not on Eldorado. Or they might, if you find the right person, but again, with the constant server shutdowns it's impossible to stall overnight...so I've started selling the elements instead. I make quite a lot on that, actually, at least enough to pay for pots and arrows and start saving for a nice lvl 32 bow - and I spent almost 200k on buying cheap standard lvl 18-24 weapons and destroying them to get elements.

Yes, but then you need to find a high crit +3 lvl 24 bow. Not easy, I can tell you. I did see a lvl 24 +2 bow yesterday, but it had crit 3. Other than that I have only seen standard lvl 24 bows and SoS bows.
