for the thanksgiving event cant i just kill mangyangs a billion times and get boxes or do i have to figh tguys my own lvl? do weaker guys have smaler chance to drop?

I would assume lower level mobs have a much lower drop rate. That is, if monkeys aren't making these decisions.

In this case, mangyangs probably would have same drop rate.
