I just downloaded the new version of SRO from silkroadonline.net, it's v1.59
and the manual patch that is on the site is only 1.62-1.64 i think, is there any solution
other than downloading the client v1.01 again from gamershell.com(as an example)? Thank you...
EDIT: geez I just downloaded the v1.01 client and installed the manual patch v1.030
But it wont connect to the server to update it to 1.62, same happened with the v1.59 one.......
Anyone have a solution to this? Do i have to add some ip to the hosts file after i install the
v1.59 one because it say there is a server inspection, that might be it
anyway, someone have that ip?
Problems with installation

You are missing a IP address in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
folder to joymax: 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com
This fix is really easy.
Go to:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and there you will find the "hosts" file with no extension.
There you should see some files. Open the one named "hosts" with notepad. Right click on the hosts file to open. The "Open With" window opens and you select Notepad.
There you will see:
For example:
2 IPs here. below that you will see
127.0.0.1 localhost (below this line add the missing IP Below)
222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com
Then you press CTRL + S and its saved as the same file type you opened.Close notepad. (Do Not try to save it as a Note Pad file type as it will not work!)
That it now Go play!!.
This has been posted numerous times on the official board by different people. It appears to be some problem with the launcher resolving your IP/DNS Connection. No matter what it is this "fix" will make it work for you again.
