er, if ur talking about Option #2, it's kinda misleading.
We've had botters in the guild, and we've kicked their ass out the second we found out.
Does that mean we are non-legit?

is it the guild ldr or recruiter's fault if they didnt know that member bots when he recruited? prehaps he started botting when in the guild
every guild, no matter how legit, has had botting problems. Even my guild has - Yoshihama botted before he was kicked. (he later joined zenith_alpha, and got teh GM ban)

I can honestly say that our guild has never had that problem. We did have a guy that had his cousin playing his character and the cousin took something out of guild storage without asking and he was kicked. We call it powerleveling and we don't condone.
oh I voted option 1

It's not whether there are members botting or never botted before. Too hard to judge.
The way to tell if a guild is non-botter or not is how they react when a botter is found in their guild. Person gone no questions asked? Or kick the person and later they "quit botting" and come back? No mercy or subconcious condoning of botting?

Most important for us is- be a fair player, be as friendly as possible, don't ks others, don't use your NPC thiefs to kill 1 * traders or low level questers, no begging, don't spam any chat with words noone like to read, strictly forbidden botting, ccf, "bot-producing" by buying gold.
Don't forget it is a game, play it to have fun, not to get a sense in your life.
I'll kick asap when I will see one of my members breaking the rules!
if only you were on aege server
,and i think gm's are getting a less strict ingeneral,i mentioned to the gm of a guild in our union that a guy was botting, another guy came across him, partied the gm and kicked him out,.
Then 5minutes later same guy finds another member botting and reports it to the gm and the guy just said "omfg whats it f-ing matter" i don't think it the gm's fault in recruiting, because finding non-botting users must prove difficult as most deicated players are in guilds nowdays..
