astrals and immortals -_-"
I had a lvl56 glavie +5, wanna try make +6 but....failed -_-"....only one times of astral none immortals....and now turns back to +4
....ppl told me that use astrals dont get down to +4 it will stay in +5 ??? .....some other ppl told me that astrals and immortals have to use at the same time......dang....now i am not goona make 64 weps into +7....

astrals give u a XX% chance of not loosing enchament (whatever that means) inmortal prevents the item from being destroyed after a failed
i used to have a 32+3 bow (nice crit, overall stats, etc) and i said, why not get it to +4 or more. i bought astral... astral didnt work. u need the inmortal to be higher than the astral to add astral. so i bought inmortal. astral 1 inmortal 1, weapon elixir then lucky elixir. result= bow +0.
us lucky steady and whatevery it only gives u a little more oportunity of succes, doesnt guaranty it
ps.: if u have a great weapon dont try alchemy on it (sometimes it also screw other stats than the one its supposed to change).

astral only works with +4 or up..

astral only works with +4 or up..
i didnt know that at that time, and the info at the sro page isnt so clear or at least i could be better explained. i think alchemy is like tossing a coin. head u get a better item, tails u get trash or the coin fly till i get down the toilet and u get item destoyed

Actually if you do alchemy often,you will realize that +4 is not that hard.
And +7 is just a medium challenge.
Only when you are trying to +9,the most difficult alchemy i ever tried before.

+4 ISN'T that hard to do. I can usually +4 in less than 10 elixirs, but if the item is unlucky, it'll take almost 20-30 elixirs for me. Hell, I +4'd a whole SoX 6th degree armor set with 72 elixirs, and had about 10 left over. And I've +4'd many of my weapons and shields, but I'm too poor in USD to get immortal and astrals

I don't know why this is so hard to understand:
Astral ONLY works if the item/weapon is at +4 or higher. If the elixir fails and the item/weapon has astral AND it is already at +4 or higher the enhancment drops to +4. You can have a +20 weapon and if an elixir fails and you don't have astral it will go back to +4.
