hey i have a 2 questions
a) Can u update the drivers with Integrated graphics ( say u have an Ati integrated graphocs card in ur laptop)
b) I have ATI moility radeon 9000 for my laptop. I tried to update the driver on that from the D/L from the SRO website, but it didnt work. Is it updatable??? I cant play sro on my laptop now (I could but i get a black screen eversince the last patch) i tried to update the driver but i couldnt get it to update. Everytime it starts updating an error comes. It says to install VGA driver and i dont know wtf that is.

1) YES
2) You should download the latest driver from you laptop manufacturer and no where else. it seems like your system is running in standard VGA mode (basic GFX when windows can't find the correct driver). When you download the video driver, it should fic your issue.

[I'm building a new pc myself this coming summer. Budget is 3000 USD, Planning on SLI-ing whatever the newest NVIDEA card will be, getting the newest dual core AMD, 4gigs of ram, water cooling and another 17" 2sec refreshrate screen to go with my current one.]
Current Rig:
AMD 64 3500+ Processor
7800GT NVIDEA
1 GIG of DDR3 RAM
1. Windows XP 32 bit does not see 4gigs of ram (it only sees 3gigs max), there is mixed information about if the OS uses the unseen ram or not.
2. The latest GFX cards will be DirectX 10 (as some1 already pointed out); DirectX 10 will ONLY be available for Windows Vista with NO support for Windows XP.
3. DDR3 RAM:
a. there is no DDR3 ram or mobos that support DDR3 on the market.
b. Your GFX card can be using DDR3 Video memory, so i can see where you can make that mistake.
