Thief Town Error

Does anyone else get an error when leaving Thief town??

I always get a box that says its a C++ error. I have all of my drivers updated, so does anyone else know how to get rid of this error?

i got the runtime error twice when leaving theif town :banghead:

i also got the error when i remove my job suit n cross the western ferry :banghead:

the error is caused when you teleport. thats why you get it when you go to the thief town or when you use the ferries. it also for me happens when i use return scrolls.

no, it ONLY happens when i leave thief town. return/thief scrolls and teleporting between ferries/towns works perfectly.

[edit] Well, I updated my video card drivers that nVidia realeased on Nov. 2
We'll see if I get this error again next time I go to thief town.

its not thief town its when u take any job suit of and do any type of teleporting like scroll or the teleporter. someone once told me for a few weeks if ud put on a hunter ud get the runtime error

yea i got the same runtime error from microsoft c++ software (w.e that is)
the times that this occured was within 1-4min of taking off hunter/thief suit so yea, any apparent solutions to this yet? it was kind of annoying as i got that error during a peak hour

So are you saying if you leave your thief suit on and teleport from thief town -> HT/DW/Jangan, you'd be fine? I always take my suit off first, but maybe I'll try leaving it on.

The error is really annoying and makes it hard to thief more than one run.

yeah if yuo leave it on, or take it off but wati a few minutes yuo'll be fine. oh and i always get it when i'm pushing alt during a ferry crossing

Leave it on? What, and risk running past a lvl 60+ hunter outside the DW west or south gate? :-P

Actually I'm starting to get this error even if I'm just running around grinding. We need a patch!

some of my friends told me that if you take off your job suits you'll get DC 10min after or teleporting in those 10 min, and when you DC everyone in the same party does, too.
Didn't test it myself (haven't played in a long time now...), but a lot of people getting it.
Try it yourself and please send bug reports ^^

I was thieving last night with a party. When I wanted to leave thief town, I used a return scroll and got the runtime error (I always get it when I use the teleporter). No one else in the party got DC though.

Just today, I went to thief town to turn in goods, took off my suit and just stood there for about 10 minutes... got the error. At least I'm not the only one it's happening to. I'm going to go on their site and see if I can send a bug report, although I'm sure a lot of people have done that already.
