Hey guys,
I have been spending the last 4 hours trying to get on and play silkroad online and i doubt ill be able to get on tonight at all, This has probably been suggested before but would it be possible when the servers get full that say every few hours the server kicks every and lets people come back in? Because im sure at least 50% of the spaces used is either botters or stalls with crap stuff no1 will buy, Im just suggesting this because i dont think its fair that people like that should block people who want to lagitly play the game and have a good time, I know im only new to this game and dont have a reputation or anything and this probably sounds like a cocky noob who thinks they can intrude on the discissions made by veteran players but i think alot of people find this annoying,

Have a bit more selfconfidence, lol.

But the idea would be nice. But it sucks when for example you are fighting a unique and then you get kicked. xD

New servers are an idea I'd likely agree with. I also heard the idea of P2P servers (or SRO going P2P completely) but I won't go deeply into that.

I'm having the same problem as you, however... I couldn't connect for the past six hours. This is one of those times... where it helps to have a single player game (or a couple, preferrably) to pass the time before server space is freed.

All i can suggest is to try and tough it out for a few more days. Or, whenever the event ends (during or after inspection i dont know), try again around then.

Other than that, like what mal said, have something you can do while waiting.

I know people are overly fustrated about this event and all the other quirks of haveing a double gold/item weeklong trial trailing bots and whatnot. Honestly let it go. You get in, woohoo, you dont.. well try again, if you get fustrated after a while, well maybe it is time to find something new to do for a bit.

even if they add new servers they get crowded in 2 3 days max, first day populate dhey cool ill try to be one of the stronest on this server, the other day umm its crowded ill try to log in, you logged in, awesome its not so full, next day (3) crowded hmm i think ill get in, DING Disconected.

and it will be the same with every single server they add.

So the only way to fix this? get some money from tose stupid koreans and pay decent servers ¬¬

well i hope the make an auto disconnect for AFK players

say max 2 hours AFK and then u r disconnected :roll:

i think if u dont that they servers will be easy all the day

seroiusly. if or when this goes p2p, people will just get bored and ripped off cause of the d.c and glitches galore and if there were p2p servers GREAT WE R TURNING IN TO RUNESCAPE!

I Like that idea alot, It would weed out all the empty useless stalls and the ppl who sit down for a night at good spots letting their monkey running around getting gold for 12hours straight.

And i dont want to sound rude but there seams to be more botters than lagit players on rome, Why arnt they being banned? Or is it more caught in the act than screenshots ect?

Well, like I said, I'm not going to get deep into it. I heard this from the SRO.net forums, so... I mean, anything is possible.

But yeah, this game still needs some work.. so that option is far from fruition. It actually came from a thread where a poster called for P2P.

If I end up loving this game greatly, and the P2P servers have better stability... you can bet I'm going there.

Actually i ever doubt that the dc for every 5-10 minutes is a way the joymax develop in order to let more player to come in....
Sometimes i feel weird that i failed to connect for about 5-10 minutes..But sometimes even i can connect to this game,it'll dc every 5-10 minutes time..
What the **** is going on??
