Actually I ended up in some parties which were fun! One party was with Turks, but the guys who were able to speak some English were translating for me. This really means that not all Turks are bad. (Obviously ) Maybe it also helped that I know about 10 Turkish words.

So I'm like level 36 now. However I don't really understand how this 'fatigue' thing works. Yesterday it even said something like 'forced shut down in 1 hour', wtf.

watsup guys, just decided to go back and start playing on ephesus. I haven't played for years so there are some things that aren't very clear to me and I'd appreciate it if someone could answer a couple of questions. Should I do the quests? I reckon with the +5 weapon that I get I can easily grind on higher level mobs but i don't know if it would be faster than the quests. My logic is that I don't need the tokens at all and doing the quests doesn't give much sp either but I just don't know. The other thing is sp farming. When I last played people used to farm bandits but that's obviously not the meta now. Should i keep a gap at all? I think I can figure out the rest on my own and if anyone replies, thanks

You should do the quests, I'd say. If nothing else, to get your enough tokens so that you can buy a full SUN 8D set. It'll come very in handy when doing Forgotten World at 64+!

I took the initiative last night to go ahead and make a character and see what's all new.
Yeah. I feel like a kid in a candy store. A REALLY big one. xD I'm lost... probably will need quite a bit of help re-understanding the game, especially since so much has changed.
I'll try getting ahold of one of them when I get back on later. Tried last night from one of your replies the other month when you named off a few characters, ,couldn't get ahold of anyone. Was kinda late though.

Question: I noticed that after fighting many low level mobs there were no gold or Item drops. Is that always going to stay like that? Wasn't sure what was up with that.

I'd suggest you go search for a few guides on "Silkroad-R", which is the 'new' version of Silkroad.

A lot has changed in that version. One of the changes, which you already mentioned, is that until level 70, monsters do not drop any gold / items. Instead, they drop Tokens, which you can exchange for sos/som/sosun and other stuff.

Additionally, there's more of a focus on quests now, and if you do them all, you'll get enough tokens (by killing monsters and as quest rewards) to buy a full 8 Degree Seal of Sun set, assuming you don't carelessly spend the tokens before reaching 8D. Questing gives a lot of exp too, so definitely worth it.

After level 35, you should focus on killing those red Dimension Pillars, which will spawn a pack of strong mobs called "Envy". Kill them, and they'll drop a Dimension Hole. This Dimension Hole can be used in towns to spawn a teleporter, which will teleport you to a dungeon called "Forgotten World" (look it up on Google or YouTube). Killing the bosses in that dungeon will provide you with an item called "Faded Bead", which is essentially an SP scroll. It gives a random amount of SP once used. If you do these Forgotten World runs (shortened to 'FGW'), you'll have plenty of SP, and you can just 0-gap all the way instead of farming SP.

Legit means no botting and no sitting in taxi's all day. Basically.

I doubt any legit plays on the other servers anymore, sadly. Well, there might be some. But none that I know of.

We started up on Merv and actually found a legit guild we're about to get into.
Well, so they say. Not many people openly admit that they are right off the bat.

I think many players on the EU-based server actually just pay $10 per month to enjoy those extra hours of game time + buy e.g. a pickup pet each month, and maybe a few globals.
