Hello, I have just returned to SRO after many years of not playing.

I was just wondering what the difference is between SRO-r and the original SRO and which one is better to play on? I don't play frequently and I don't like to spend hours on end playing but I still love the game so I was just wondering which is better to start on. Also, does sro-r have a different download link than the original sro client?

SRO-R is an "improved" version of ISRO. They changed the skills(they made some stuff much worse with this) completely replaced the quests lvl 1-70 and some other minor stuff.
It's better to start and play on SRO-R since it's community is newer, has more activity and gold has a higher value so you won't see those crazy prices like ISRO has.

Basically you don't need to farm (just go to forgotten world, the uniques there drop Sp scrolls)

Chinese are stronger and you get free sos set up to 8D.

Both are 100% bots though. I don't recommend playing sro on the official servers.
