its true srf lost alot of members but if they didnt bot nothing would have happened, if they were smart they shouldnt share their char names at least.

Also respect wont exist between a legit player and a bot; the bond will always be weak and hate will always be there, why?, because every silkroad legit plays as hard as he can, while bots dont.

@ heroo, sorry bro but ur mistaken in this, this is a legit forum and they should respect that, if u wanna bot do it but at least dont share ur char name.

you gamenerds (ohh no he di'nt) don't realize that alot of members have quit the game and only visit the forums cause of the community. I do not care what happens in the game. I vist silkroadforums for OTL mostly. I don't want to see people that make this forum fun and worthy of my internettime to get banned cause of something they did in the game. This is not the official Silkroad forum and SRF does not represent JoyMax.

And to be honest, you really should grow up. If you can't stand botters ingame, that's fine by me, but if you can't stand them on a forum where they don't even openly admit it, you're just a retarded child. You should be able to make the difference in environment between SRO and SRF. And save us the ''legit-forum'' bullsh1t bro, that sh1t is older then teh internetz.

And if those 'closet' botters annoy you that much, just leave already. Don't spam every fcking GD topic with your bot accusations. You and like 4 people on this forum still care for that sh1t. I had expected more from a member with your postcount. You should know how it goes down on SRF:
SRF > SRO.

yet you are defending botters by arguing with me. Strwarrior is right, the community would still be big if those people didnt bot in the first place. SRF is a community built around legit players who play silkroad online. If you dont agree with that, then this isnt the forum for you...

SRF may be better then SRO but certainly not bigger and that doesnt bother me. id rather talk with 30 people who played the game the way it was suposed to rather then 300 people who press a button because they want biq lwl.

Well, most of the "bot-haters" here have their reasons, why they don't want botters around here under any circumstances. At least i have several reasons, why i definitely don't want any botters around here. I just made too many experiences with botters in the past. Everywhere i went to play SRO, they just kept ruining it for me. Actually at the beginning i was more laid-back towards botters, in fact i didn't care too much, as long as they would let us legits play too. I never liked their way of "playing" the game, but i didn't hate them either. I just avoided to interact with them and i thought it would be alright like that...

Actually the most important steps, which turned me into a strict bot hater, were the following:

1. Most of my friends on Poseidon just started to bot at lv.90+, after we were pting together for almost 40 levels. After that i refused to play with them any longer. Sure, you could say, that i maybe just didn't have the right friens back then and that was exactly, what i also thought at first. Also at that time it was really horrible with the server traffic and logging in took forever. In the end i just stopped playing there and went to CSRO...

2. Only to realize that it wasn't any better there...

3. At that time i was quite sure, that i wouldn't play SRO again, but then i heard about the TSRO legit movement. I didn't hesitate to join it, but i guess most of you still know, how it ended and who was to blame for it. This was the time, when i really started to hate bots, because they ruined a decent server for me yet again...

4. After that i went to KSRO, but the community there just wasn't big enough and there was no steady flow of newcomers to fill the gaps of the ones, who stopped playing. It probably just was to hard to register and play there

5. I went to RSRO, same story as with ISRO and CSRO though. And yet again i was close to quitting SRO completely. Maybe i just shouldn't have returned...

After all this, you just can't expect me to ignore botters showing off their characters or spreading their opinions here.

Also i think it's just wrong to compare "hardcore legits" and nazis. Nazis were racists and as far as i am concerned botters are not a race (correct me, if i am wrong

). You are not born as a botter and you can decide to stop botting with your own free will. You can't change your race and you never chose your race in the first place. There is really nothing you could do about it.

Anyway you are not a botter, because you just inherited it from someone. You are a botter, because you decided to be one. I don't hate people for their nationality, race, religion, etc. and i usually respect everyone, unless they give me reasons, why i shouldn't respect them. But i don't respect people, who are just too weak in their mind to play a game on their own. They don't want to actually play the game and use programmes to play the game for them. If you ask me, that's just ridiculous. I mean really, what would you think, if someone would say: "Yea, i play that game, but i don't like it. So i use a programme, that plays it for me." I'd probably say, that person should visit a psychiatrist...

But i really don't see, where "hardcore legits" and nazis have something in common, so maybe you should just stop that idiotic comparison. Actually if you keep going on with that Nazi-legit stuff, i might consider reporting you to a mod or forum admin for insulting me or other people. I am sure they'd agree that calling someone Nazi or Nazi-like is a heavy case of insulting people. At least i wouldn't tolerate such statements against anyone, if i would be in charge.

Well, "ruining" the game comes in different forms for me. The most drastic ones are probably IP-bans on foreign SRO-versions, like it happened on TSRO for example.

Some more moderate ways of ruining the game are:
-Ksing
-Goldbot inflation
-Heavily overcrowded servers
-People, who achieve things ingame, by doing nothing at all

most of us legits still play sro but not isro, we moved to pvt servers that ban people for botting... we wouldnt have had to move if people didnt bot on isro in the first place or if joymax banned you.

the situation is certainly ridiculous, its ridiculous that you havent been banned from sro already
