Normal weapon ADV

Hi guys, this question has been asked countless times. And I still, have not gotten a good answer for it.

How to obtain a normal weapon ADV?

I've hear many different things, "+5 is enough", "you only need FB", "must be higher then +5 and FB" etc.

EDIT: I've also heard that it must be of the 2nd / 3rd tier? (I've tried this aswell, ahsn't worked)

Only time I've gotten a normal ADV was when I destroyed a shield +5, not FB.

So I'm very confused, because I've got this staff (8D) which is +5 and almost FB. All I'm missing is 100% on "Blocking Rate", I currently have 15%.

Now I'm wondering, should I try to destroy it and hope that it's enough or should I wait until there are Discipline stones/tablets to buy (been looking for 2 days straight and there are none)?

What do you guys think?

From what i hear , you only need the item to be +5 for a decent chance of getting an Advanced elixir .

Yeah well I've destroyed about 13+ +5 weapons. So i dunno lol

i think every item have a chance of getting Adv Elixir. But highest chance is +5 and FB 100%. If you want to gamble on experiment then be my guest. I have tried it countless times. if its 100% FB and At least +5 then it has 100% all stats 41% then It has 100% chance of Adv, at least for me.

So you need atleast +5 FB with 41& whites, does the tier matter?

Tier doesn't matter, also you don't need 41% whites and FB. If the item has relatively good blues/whites and is at least +5 you can get one, even if chances are slim.

Yesterday I made a 94+7 staff, wanted to get it to +8 for a better selling price, bought a 85+5 bow with 4 str 4 int 100% attack rate and dura, 1 steady and blocking 35, with nothing of the whites 0%, destroyed it and I didn't get an adv.

GOT ONE!

I destroyed a +5 almost FB (one was only at 15%), all whites above 41% except Attack Rate. And I got one

EDIT: It was a 3rd tier weapon.
