Back in the day you could just throw on a thief suit and take someone's stuff.. I remember I was never a high enough level to do that, so I always just ran around the ferries scouting xD good times!

3 years? its more like 5year old guide. In the early days of 70cap that guide could have been effective.

Lately the best way I've made gold is with alchemy. Buy some clean gear for cheap, + it, blue it and sell stones. You could also make a rogue or a wizard, get it to level 35 and try to farm Forgotten World for talismans by invising to the first box in a 2*. Of course that calls for patience and you're not guaranteed a spell paper or elder staff which in my server sell for 90~110 mil or so..
Depends on the economy of the server, I guess in others they sell for way less.
I've also been told that you could get a character to level 5, use a pickup pet and go to Roc mountain or Takla and let it pick up the gold there from bot parties.
There's various ways to gain gold, play the market on your server. Trade runs aren't an option anymore so you've got to be creative.
I haven't really gotten into the new job system, but the stones you get from it stopped selling really.. could try something with that..

Silkroad Online can be a very confusing game. Making money properly can be too.

Just wait a minute or so and no mobs will be around the box , attack it from a far place (far away from mobs) and you can have enough time to pick tailsmans and use invisible again (then a return scroll) .

Flame Mountain makes it easier, but I hear you. Have to make sure no mobs are close, it's annoying.

Well, like I said it takes patience. As for Flame Mountain, it takes more time to get a character to that level and like me being a bard/cleric I can't go invis.

Yeah, I was the noob who's stuff got jacked for a while xD But it was fun when there were no aliases and no teleporting and you could easily switch hunter/thief and be totally biwinning.

Ways to get REAL rich in silkroad:

1) 11D Job cave uniques:
They drop gold coins
Price: 100m - 200m depending on server
Income: 400m-1b a day

2) 11D Holy Water temple:
They drop Silver coins (Adv = gold coins)
Price: 10-20m silver 100-200m Gold Depending on server
Income: 100-200m a day

3) Party play Alexandria:
They drop all kind of items
Price: Depends on the items
Income: 10-50m a day (Excluding novas)

4) Giving taxi
Wings or higher
Price: 1m / h
Income: 168m/day when full pt of 7m/h

5) Consign trading
Idea is to buy cheap sell high
Price: Low weapon elixers for 500k and sell 800k ea.
Income: Depends on how many people buy / sell.

Those made my 108b gold =)

lol? atleast dont try to be a hypocrite, since you wrote income average of 1 guy and not divided by 8, which is maybe 100-400m / day (for single player) + its impossible to coordinate 8 high lvls players to go everyday for uniques, they all bot therefore lazy.

You got 2x isis / anubis / neith / selket and 2x haroeris.

Assume you join isis / anubis / neith / selket you (or your pt) kills about 8 uniques.
Do able on my server.
These 8 uniques are able to drop a max of 40 gold coins if lucky.
Split on 8 chars is 5 gold coins a person.
5 Gold coins is 1b in our server.

Anywho spawn times are less then 9h away from each other. So do-able.
