Slave watchers

Okay I haven't played in like a year or two and was pretty excited to start playing a little bit again. I download it and am excited to see my character again. I go to leave hotan and get my horse one-shotted by a slave watcher and ambushed by them. I bezerk and ghost phantom away and they follow me the whole way and eventually kill me...

wtf is the deal with this shit because its pretty much bs...is there anyway to avoid them or something....I'm not botting or anything and they ambush the hell out of me and I can't even outrun them...

different exit - go to grinding spot via different town - follow bots outside, go invisible or phantom past them while bot dies, stealth past if you are rogue, pot your horse like a mofo and hope they aggro on someone else.

They are a royal pain. There were 5 of them just past golden spiders on the way to niya snipers, horse died, I blessed and ran away, thinking I got him stuck on the corner as the red dot disappeared. About a minute later the slave watcher comes out of nowhere while I'm running through worms and almost kills me.

Alright, thanks for the help. I didn't know you could take a different exit. I assumed they were at every exit. Its still a pain though.
