It is real, Joymax is hiring many people at the moment for Silkroad 2 development.

Actually it's not really needed to pay for SRO. I never bought silk and i am not going to do so either. I am still doing quite fine and i have a lot fun with my guild/union.

kSRO never tried to make SRO 2, and Joymax only copies kSRO updates. I can't imagine them releasing something like SRO 2.
On the other hand, Joymax probably wants to start major changes like better graphics and stuff. You can't do that just by single update. Maybe that's why SRO 2 is needed.
I want to stay in SRO 1, so I hope botters will leave it in start annoying SRO 2 legits.

KSRO is not company, KSRO is a game. And the ppl who made KSRO are JoyMax. Moreover, the ones who are putting together a crew are JoyMax in Korea, not USA. ISRO is just copied and translated KSRO which is run by JoyMax in USA, just like any other official version is by run by a different company. JoyMax in USA don't come up with anything themselves when it comes to SRO, they only make events n such, they don't desing anything. All they can do is recolour, rename stuff, translate, create events, change FW times, Roc times, ban accs etc.
So Korean JoyMax is making SRO2, i don't see a problem here. It might even happen that nothing will change for us if JM at Korea will keep SRO1 and will still develop it, JM at USA will keep updating stuff that JM at Korea also does and JM at USA won't buy SRO 2 altogether which means we are gonna have to play KSRO 2, and that is not so easy when u don't know what something is in English. Korean JM may ban foreign IPs from KSRO 2 as well or make some system which prevents others from playing. So if Korean JM has announced SRO 2 already, don't be so sure u will play it already ppl. :wink:
