not really, most botters buy silk, most goldbuyers buy silk, and there aren't enough legits anymore to actually fill more than 10% of the total capacity

if they removed gold bots and player bots, then more legits would come back.

have 1 person with 8 accounts paying for prem every month is unlikely
having 8 people paying for prem every month is a lot more likely.

if you dont think that will work, please explain how WoW and Guild Wars make their money?

ofc they would have to adjust the xp / sp rates if they do that.

they aren't involved enough with the community, so they are clueless.
they must be acting only through statistics.

oh well, joymax is much more than just isro.. and i think people on here fail to relize that. in ksro and jsro its 100% legit, they arent bothering with isro like that.

it kind of reminds me of gunz online when they had maeit entertainment running an international gunz before ijji bought it and made gunz what it is lol

edit: the only way i can see sro being 100% legit is if some american or brittish company bought it and made managed that sht like an old guy watching his lawn from his stoop. its been proven time and time again that korean companies couldnt care less about english speaking players. look at any game, what about knight online? korean version and japanese versions were AMAZING yet the international version sucked until it was bought by another company to make an english version. if i had a company i would buy sro i think it has loads of potential.

Doesn't quite work that way. Joymax could reform SRO into the most legitimate game ever and their stock would still go down. If you want to see something similar look at ATVI (activision/blizzard) stock. After MW2 sold 234923234234234 copies the stock didn't change drastically =\

The big dip in the the JM stock happened when the stock market took a huge plummet near the end of 2009, nothing to do with SRO.

I have to acknowledge that on some small scale their management strategies or lack there of as some bearing on their stock performance. Its probably safe to assume that the "dont-give-a-dam" attitude carries over into some of their other game titles as well. I believe even if the market was good Joymax would not be performing up to it's potential. So a bad market would hurt them even worse.

You pretty much left yourself open here, so I feel I must not pass up this opportunity.

WoW and Guild Wars make their money by being better overall games.

I'm going to have to disagree. More money spent on management in this case is irrelevant as the target audience that plays this game does so without fail. Through all the bullshit that is the company Joymax there have been thousands of people that still load up their bot and pay ridiculous monthly fees, and that's really all that matters. What hurt the company is things like their other failed games (darkeden and that other weird game) that eventually were closed down. If they spend money on management and upgrades etc they'd be investing money for minimal extra return.

Guild Wars doesnt rely on people buying accounts for their income and there is no monthly fee, therefore your argument is invalid.

People don't leave the game because of bots because the majority ARE bots. The poor support towards the game and ignorant GM's. the 12D alchemy has done it for me. I can stand spending 2-3bil on elixirs but not 500-700 dollars to get +1 on a weapon. SOMEONE farked UP HERE....

Well we're gonna have to remain in disagreement because I don't see (except maybe 70 cap) these "Thousands of people that still load up their bots.......blah blah blah". What I do see is thousands of gold bots catering a the hand full of people who buy gold. I see deserted servers with a very small amount of player botters who come around the main PVP areas taking a break from botting.

If by thousands you mean combining all the servers then that's probably between 3-5 thousand and that would still be a low figure given the amount of servers we now have. If you really want to see who are numbering in the high thousands add up all the gold bots. If each and every single gold bot was a customer that was seeking personal entertainment they would spend lots more money on silk and joymax would perform really good on the market.

I think you're forgetting the age of this game and the fact that most people don't like spending over a year to hit a game level cap. The amount of legit people this game attracts is minimal for many reasons, that being one of them. Granted I haven't logged into my old server in about a year, when I did quit it was still packed full of player-botters at every single grind location I could think of. Maybe in that passed year it has changed greatly but I really doubt what your saying is not an exaggeration.

He is completly right :D

Their stock increases when they make more money.
However as you might notice ever since that 12D alchemy came out their stock has been rising again
