If you take Rev6 forum threads seriously, there are maybe hundreds of people per server who lost their accounts. I'm sure that, combined with the "anti-bot" measures, would lower the numbers.

Of course that would be due to character buying and selling. To my knowledge no one has been "hacked" if you never shared your account info.

Nah, just at the general forum. You're not the only one that complains about bots, and you're certainly not the loudest considering you don't start a new thread every other day to make a specific complaint about bots.

And to clarify: Those buying accounts not only buy accounts because they are too lazy to make their own charaters, but then they proceed to just bot it up. Kinda funny.

Well, its up to you to believe me or not. But yes, I got hacked before when I played on Server Ares on both my and my brother's account from a person who appeared to be German. ( I knew none back then ) Without sharing our info. I always had the same theory as you but apparently there are some weird exceptions. Well, SRO doesn't matter to me much now, but back then I just couldn't believe it.
