Make sure you clean your battery contacts, and then make sure your cables aren't loose. Then do a quick oil fill (not change). It also depends on your carburetor, will vary on how you can start silkroad. But I think it's an engine issue because silkroad can start, but then die. So make sure your spark plugs are good, and the plugs themselves. Then come back and tell us how that worked
