How are you satisfied with GM's?

Does "GM" stand for "G@y Master"? Because as far as im informed about them is only from globals that shout "fk gm ban botter u g@y". So i never heard about them in any other context

Still i think the problem is more perception...
If we would know what GM's are able to or what there tasks are we could have a better insight on if the thing they do, or not do, is well done or just plain crap.

Anyway, thinking of it... even if their only job is: showing up once in a while then they even *suck* at that...

I wonder, did anyone already offer to JM to be a GM for free? (Knowing this means leaving all chars you have)

We don't really know what goes on behind the scenes. I think of the GMs as a liaison between Joymax and us, the players. We may love that they have lots of cool nifty powers (go invisible? GM blessing? ban bots? talking in purple font??? whoa, dude) but they really can't do alot to change the game. It's the customer support and developers at Joymax who can do anything to reverse our cries and pleas for LESS bots! MORE events! with cherries on top and a pretty please. Banning bots would be a temporary solution to a massive issue that also affects other games out there. Patching the game or fixing code that enhances gameplay would be better. It'll keep the bot-makers on the edge. Of course, that means having to pay the employees at Joymax to continue fixing the game, which implies that Silk Road Online must generate revenue, which means that the players need to buy silk OH WAIT, SOME OF YOU ARE BOYCOTTING SILK. Oh btw, making a poll and dumping blame on the GMs doesn't do anything either. If anything, it just attracts more negativity.

Just be glad the game is so damn good that we actually care for its well-being and also for the fact that it's, well, FREE for the most part.

Olympus server has had NO Gm apperanences since it was made

And also as far as anyone knows NO bans due to bottign have been made either.

People frequently run up to you and ask "Why aint you botting? Gm wont do nothing"

It's disgracfull

I complain because I can, and I will, I will never stop. The only thing that will make me stop is either they block me, or botters, nothing else. I dont know how people act in Korea, Usa, Germany, etc... But where I live, the customer IS ALWAYS RIGHT! I as customer request blocking of botters.

Well sooner or later every1 is going to have to except they cold hard truth or find another game..... the truth is this is a curropt game =.= botting and CCFing everywhere and i dont think the GMs or Joymax is ganna do anything about it any time soon

Maybe they cant stop botting like jso but ccfing is out of hand yet it would be very easy to control. They should put lvl restriction on the astrals you buy to put on your equipment.

Sry to dissargue with some but gm aint jack on this game

.. i use ticket and stuff but i wont any more .. there is like 10 bots on soldiers room grinding there 24/7 and they cant ban them .. today acualy i fraked coulednt grind and i wrote a realy angry letter to those ..... and send it to them like 5 times so im gladly Waiting for my ban .. dosent matter if there is only 3 gm on 11/12 servers its not so hard ppl are sending bugg raports abaught botters all the time and they are not doing anything . its not hard to find botters if gm tool like 1 hour and walked araund he would see that bunwangs are full with botts mujigis .. penon fighters all room in the cave i would say all the ppl 64 + 80-90% botters .. and still botting .. so from me gm gets a big fat (11111111111111111).....

The way it is,,They don't care, as long as the number of people keep coming , bots split programs for 2 games runnning at once,,more the merry, the #'s matter, thats all that does matter, to the marketing firms they sell the info they get from our pc's.......... Games like martial heroes(korean game also) ,,, have people that are of certain levels become GM(helpers) ,,,,,like a little godling of the gm, with some power,,, but most importantly, report things to the gm of bots & hacking, helps the game run smoother!!! regardless if its an older game and not as big, its still a good stystem for keeping the peace and banning acounts happens alot,,,,why have they not did this?,,,,,,,,,,because,,,,,there goes 40% of the players on this game if the bots ands hacks were gone!!! by the way, i spend more time in forums now then SR, higher i get,,,,the more bots there are,,,,,whats the #$##$ 'ing point anymore!!!

Personally I don't care anymore. The more I worry about this or that fucktard being a bot, the less and less I enjoy the game. I'm gonna just play the damn game, and if the gm's do something, great. If they don't, I don't care, quit, more server space and less lag for me. If you want to go buy an account, buy gold, pay for a bot, go do it. I'm gonna do my own damn thing, and mind my own business from now on.
